Homer's Legal 4-Plant Max Perpetual Minimalist Garden In Ontario

My GG is slowly drooping from the weight of her buds at 8 weeks and 6 days.

There are more cloudy than last week but still no amber and lots of clear. I am taking Penny's advice and going to give her 10 weeks so not long now.

You won’t be sorry you waited.
I see no reason not to wait. Dr. Seeds says 7 to 9 weeks and it is nine weeks tomorrow so suprised to see so few cloudy. But yes, no point in screwing it up now by harvesting too soon.

She's a beauty :yummy:
She is getting bigger buds but she is starting to lose her structural integrity because of it. I was hoping she would support herself till the end for a plant of the month shot but she isn't co-operating. I guess I shouldn't complain about it, lol.

You’ll know when, wait until you start seeing a little amber on the flower brachts
She is a funny one because there are no ambers at one day shy of nine weeks when according to Dr. Seeds it should take 7 to 9 weeks. Like I just learned from you some Indicas don't go amber so maybe that's it but it's not all cloudy either.

Emilya has a theory that breeders consider the start of flowering in their estimates as when the first sign of flowering shows up on the plant like a pistil not when it is flipped with the lights to 12 hours. The more I think about it the more that seems possible because it takes usually about two weeks to see pistils and about how much their estimates seem to be out. Either that or they all lie because everybody else lies.

Stake her up, she’s still gorgeous

I'm glad you think so. My last plant I tied a string around it the last several weeks about three-quarters of the way up it and by tightening up the string occasionally I kept her pretty upright. This one is about 4 1/2 feet in diameter so is going to be pretty difficult alone to get the string up because last time I reached around the plant giving it a big bear hug to do it. I'll get her done but I think I'll be all sticky after, LOL. Actually I'll find a better way. There are half a dozen branches in the very back that have actually flopped over already out of camera view.

That's a good problem.

That's a good problem.
It certainly is. I would much rather have a plant with big buds falling over than little buds upright.:thumb:

I always wait until I see the first little puff balls pop up. So yes I’d be about 2 weeks or so ahead of you.
That's fine because there is really no urgency and everything is lined up for whenever she's ready to harvest. Bruce Banner is incredibly persistent wanting to grow tall but she takes super cropping nicely so I'm developing a decent canopy and I think I have easily two weeks before flipping before I have to worry about any height problems. And my Super Lemon Haze is supposed to be here within a week timing was lucky.

Cool, never heard the puffball thing before.
