HomeMedGrower's Coco GDP

Awesome! I will most likely be cutting down my GDP as it appears to be a boy.... :(

Pineapple Express

I cleaned up the bottoms of both the flowering girls. Got rid of some smaller branches that were never going to get any light. Also this will help with air flow down lower. Canopy staying nice and even, even after knocking PE 2 down a little. Here's some shots from day 13 of 12/12.

Looking good.

HMG - They look absolutely gorgeous!! :yahoo:
I love how perfectly healthy they look - as always it seems. Very nice job so far. :goodjob:

Thanks Xlr8.

I'm really loving how well the BPN and coco are working out for me. Also thanks to reading Bassmans thread on High Defoliation it appears PE 1 has tighter nodes and better flower production so far. This could just be that it's from 2 different seeds, or topping it as well. So maybe not the best example.

With my GDP I have noticed that the nodes are a lot tighter now since I did a heavy defoliation. It was staying tight before but it is even tighter now.

Why does tighter nodes make for better bud production??

I really love the results of your defoliation. That one plant 1 page back with the really tight nodes looks just awesome! They all do really but that jumped out at me.

I hear that alot about the tighter nodes and all. But, I was just wondering what the mechanics (or genetics) are behind it. I'm not trying to be a smart ass. I'm just curious.

Why you want them closer ..... and how it makes the buds bigger.
