HomeMedGrower's Coco GDP

I'm too scared to start tearing all the leaves off. This being my first time around and all.

Thanks for the info guys.

Hey Mutt, I wrote that thread they linked on defoliation. I agree in not doing it on your first grow. Get yourself dialed in and confident first. Then take a more serious look at it. I'm going to follow your grow and see how ya do. Maybe I can offer some guidance based on what I've learned in hydro.

You are deffinitely more than welcome to throw advice during my grow.

I've been really lucky so far. My PH is perfect for both my soil and water. My humidity and temps and good and constant. I did alot of research before building ..... so my light is optimal for the space I'm using. I haven't had any emergencies to deal with at all. So, I'm sure my abilities will get tested by these little ladies at some point.

The thing that I am trying to grasp right now is nutes ..... how much .... what kind ... etc. Trying to stay organic as possible.

:thanks:

I think I'm going to try and flower the 2 PE and then do the GDP nice and big bush style. Not sure yet. :hmmmm:
from what ive read about gdp thats the only way your going to get a decent yield with her. simillar to what im doing right now, lots of lst and fim/topping to really bush her out before she gets any height.not much stretch to gdp either so you can let her get pretty big before you flip the switch.

That's all my GDP does ....... bush out. It's the slowest grower of the bunch. Really short. But, very bushy.

Hey HMG -

Just wanted to say, you are keeping a great journal so far. You've shared some really good links and ideas and love the plants so far. :bravo:

Hope today finds you feeling well. :)

I agree. Been enjoying the ride so far.

Definitely going to be a short squat one.

Thanks Xlr8, I'm just trying to pass on all the great stuff I've learned from :420: as well as some of my own experiences.

I'll have a photo update tomorrow. PE1 still looks a little sad but I think its coming around.

Feeling a little rough today but I got a great smile after reading this. :thankyou:

Have a great weekend buddy.
:Namaste:

GDP nice short little bush going on here. I took most of her fan leaves off on the 12Th. Then today I decided to top her and take some of the lower growth for clones as well to help out the air flow down there.
