Hey Stage: Where Ya Been? Fall 2017 DBHBB Perpetual

Hey stage. Here for the show. Gotta learn the way of the brixers...

High and good afternoon brother.
Congrats on your MoTM win!
:high-five:
We follow ea other on the grizam and I dig your style.
:passitleft:
This thing we call brix is more than a kit.
Please have a seat make yourself comfortable.
:high-five:
Me? I'm still learning and I make mistakes from time to time.
The Brix gang are very helpful.
:volcano-smiley:
Feel free to check out their jorunals as they usually have more detail and experience.
Doc Bud weighs in often.

Video Update: Please take care to lower the volume.
It's a garage, so I keep the music going at all times.

Stage,

I just want to say it is always a impressive treat to view your plants and what you have done with the kit.

With that being said let me inform you that to date I have always enjoyed the tunes in the background as well, and there is no reason for me to turn my volume down. Instead I turn it up!!

Thanks for posting

Agreed. It's like cola monsters videos. You never turn down the annoying hum of the fans but crank up the tunes! Love the trunk on that bush stage. You really know how to grow em.

Hey what's your opinion on the blurple board mix thus far? I'm thinking I love the boards but still enjoy the uv, blue, far red and IR supplement from the Chinese led. Just curious cause your plants seem to really enjoy those lights :circle-of-love: :ganjamon:

High and good mornin MadDabber,
Thank you for the big up Bredren!
:passitleft:
Blurple boards and Chinese leds were purged from my inventory a little while back.
After doing some reading I decided if not CMH...COB or QB boards for blooming.
I still own two HPS lights but its retired also.:rip:

Prefer the newer tech lighting instead. Full spectrum ftw. :thumb:
Most full spectrum cobs or qb's these days provide great results throughout the grow /veg cycle.

My T5 lights have 6500k bulbs and hortilux powerveg bulbs with uv-b.
I prefer these for cuttings and young plants.

The CMH /LEC bulbs are Philips 3100k which also have plenty of blue / red and uv-b.
I use these during veg transition and bloom.

High and green blessins Amy,
I appreciate you all digging tunes while gardening.

I never stop the music.
The drone of the fans and whatnot can be mind numbing without the munchies. :)
The 1st two toppings were every top.
After that the toppings were on the corner branches only.
Ditto on the music - I turned it up too! Was sad when it finished, so I played it again, Sam :passitleft:

Such an awesome array of colas - is there a 420smiley for "swoon"?

When you say topped 4 times, do you mean top every top? (If you know what I mean...)

:Namaste:

High Golfer,
Not this time my friend.

I'm looking forward to harvests these days.
Picked up a new toy called Trimbag.
Used it on my last harvest which would normally take days to hand trim alone.
Two lbs and less than an hour later I'm released from Trim jail.:yahoo:

My hands hurt looking at that video:thedoubletake: I can only imagine the cramps from all the trimming needed at harvest :high-five:

Thanks,

I was wondering if you got it and what your opinion was.

I watched a few tube videos, read some comments, looked at some reviews.

Seems the biggest issue for some folk was you had to over dry your herbs to use it.

Did you do that?

Or if not did you find it worked out just as well?

Thank you

High OL,
Thank you and Agreed.
Music makes both the plants and I move with intent and purpose.
:passitleft:

In these pages I've tried to give a good show and document 3 harvests in less than fifty pages.

One 4x8 scrog.
8 full sized free style plants.
2 monster bushes.

Ill end the journal when these two big chicks are done in mid march.

I'm finding it entertaining. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

Thanks.... :passitleft:

All those views and no one knows how to hit the "like" button on the videos? Guys...... I expect more. :battingeyelashes:

One last thought and I'll stop cluttering your pages. :battingeyelashes: You'd be surprised at how often it's quiet in my home. I know it surprises me, but then I'm typically carrying on six different conversations across the forum and studying on the side. Lol! It's a pleasure to listen in on your work atmosphere. Damn! Some serious trunks on those girls. Someday I'll set my 4x4 up again and you can walk me through it. I'll have to relocate first.

Let's make it a date of unknown timing. Someday I'll grow one that rivals those massive bushes. :kisstwo:

OL,

It's a tool.
I own the non stick coated fiskars and non stick bonsai snips.
Now I have options.

I recommend this for the guy / gal who does not have the time and manual dexterity to trim lbs of smoke every 4 weeks.

Next time I harvest I will document it and show some nugs.

I will look forward to it, because I trust your judgement.

When you do could you make mention or show if there is any noticeable loss of Trichs please.

until then, I won't clutter your pages up anymore either.....

:blunt:

OL,
I can tell you right now you will lose some trichs.
Especially if you over dry.

Some folks are not gonna be fans of this. Period.

Video Update: Two big chicks in Docs Kit. Week 4 of flip.
When you gotta stand on a ladder.....you know it's serious. ;)
They get the 1st cat drench tomorrow. :slide:
