Ok so here's a good example of particle size this is sulfur is use it for lowering soil ph and so i get it like what is in my hand,i take a Goodwill kitchen aid coffee grinder i got for $10 and grind it to a fine powder it works good for a quicker change in soil ph the sulfur is good for plants hard to over do it on that other than changing ph to much
Another thing about soil ph if you have to raise soil ph some ppl use Domeilite lime well that's MG and calcium where as AG lime is all or mostly calcium so what the lesson would be is if you don't need MG in your soil why would you use Domelite lime its easy to have to much MG but not that easy for to much CA if you know what im saying by that just like if you're MG deficient Cal/Mag is ok because it can get the MG and its hard to overdo CA which is talked about more than nitrogen its one of the foundation nutrients ✌️

Ok so adjustment on ph after adding Gypsum, potassium sulfate, and feather meal.
I'll recheck ph today and for the next 2 days, but bed is drying out after flushing im up to 72 mb on my tension meter (Target is 💯) The bed stays wet for awhile that's why i don't go in with a heavy hand on amendment and notice i didn't add compost or worm castings its not necessary to add that constantly unlike some other methods even in the smaller containers.
So its coming along, next round it'll go faster ill be experienced with the LED and i won't be adding all kinds of amendment during this round. I won't need to If i do anything I'll retest the bed or do a tissue test to see what the deficiency's could be if any, if and when the deficiency shows up usually its a ph fluctuating or from over watering or or other environmental factors haven't used any chemicals since i started and I don't intend to ✌️

Ok so i picked several spots to check ph Incase of out of range pockets and everything was 6.7/6.8 i couldn't ask for anything better! When i started yesterday it was 7.2 , thats why i recommend using a coffee grinder for large particle size it has a QUICK effect and if i would have left the sulfur in big particle size id get pockets of low ph because it doesn't spread evenly and it would have taken forever to start working and be sure to work sulfur into the soil really good, lime as well but sulfur a MUST! I always use AG lime Its all CA so its hard to hurt anything until the ph gets to high! Domelite lime is CA and MG I use Epsom salt for my MG needs✌️

Welcome back @Stunger i just wanted to give you a thank you for the chicken advice a while ago our chickens are doing so great after your ideas I decided to get 6 we got 13 now,had 14 but 1 One was a rooster so he got put up for adoption .
The helpful tips were much appreciated🙏 👍

So the bed is drying out after flushing things are coming around still no fertilizer getting ready to brew a compost tea I add Big foot mycorrhizae at the end of tea brew when I water and i use bio mass 1 time a week 2ml a gallon i use a sprayer to apply that but im going to wait until 110mb on my meter before i water with the tea (you don't want your soil dry when using tea damp is best for microbe life!) then ill let the blumats take over for irrigation until i feed them some fish if they even need to be fed✌️
