Do you think you will be able to fill the screen? I know certain strains if vegged and trained enough could do.
Im not sure first time I've done these strains but i don't flower mine on time i let the plant get good size so it takes a bit and I don't top my plants I train them through the net it's the smaller squares first then for weight ill add a bigger square trellis usually i can't see the soil through the canopy

Keeping your soil at the ideal moisture level keeps microbes and other microorganism populations happy. Often the moisture you can feel near the surface is fine while the soil near the roots is dry as dust, or the reverse – dry at the surface and over-watered at the roots. Seasonal differences can also cause these conditions to rapidly reverse. With the digital moisture meter it will no longer be a matter of guesswork and experience but a super accurate way to monitor the moisture level near your roots using concrete numerical data.

Working in a similar way to the Tropf-Blumat, but rather than controlling the watering, the meter measures the levels of moisture and/or dryness. It operates using the tensiometer principle and indicates the amount of force necessary for a plant to absorb water. This method of measurement allows for very accurate recognition of the level of moisture near the roots and therefore, a more exact application of water whether by hand or in large container plantings.

The digital moisture meter comes in clear tube with precise instructions and number readings that apply for different seasons and different kinds of plants.

APPLICATION

The ceramic extension is soaked in and filled with water, just like a Blumat sensor. When this is inserted into the growing medium, the medium exerts a pressure on the water inside the cone. When the medium is more dry, it pulls harder on the water inside the cone. When the medium is more moist, the force pulling inside the cone is less. These forces of pressure correlate to different readings on the meter. A reading of 0 indicates standard water, while a high reading of 750 or so indicates sawdust completely void of moisture. The higher the number readings, the drier the soil. we recommend keeping the soil at 80-120 mbar

Thanks for explaining that to me, this is all new to me, will do a google on Blumat and what is the name and brand of your soil moisture indicator. Cheers

You know talking to me your hanging with a BAD CROWD these ppl on here think i got bad advice and they don't really like me because i don't dump all kinds of crap to my plants namely cal mag but anyways you can use what I say or not up to you i do pretty good its more inexpensive this way, better for the environment, and Better for whoever gets my bud for a Gift and no it's not loaded with salts and heavy metals! No Flushing required!

Its all good, Don't hold back on your thoughts, I will take and discard as i see fit, I am only doing this, growing and chatting as a hobby. You have a good thread, its interesting. Cheers

Well thank you i try!
Yeah Discard anything you don't find useful By All means I've changed and i like to share my thoughts right or wrong Im always earning!
My primary reason being here is to try to make ppl aware that they don't have to use all the chemicals
I've done aeroponics, ebb and flow and still got Good results no matter how i was doing it but ALOT MORE expense that way
im much better at the organic gig because i don't have alot to do with it the the microbes and plants do most of tge work I just need to keep the right environment for them and things are usually good ppl tend to overthink things and are impatient they want instant gratification i believe let mother nature do her thing instead of interfering 😁

Just because it's faster or because if you see instant change in a plant dosen't mean its Better!
Doing organic is slower and you need to plan way ahead and the growth isn't as quick as force feeding them but the plants stay healthy and I'll stay healthy"er" for instance I won't put a plant in flower because itll probably struggle so if it takes me longer until its healthy then that's what i do

I agree, I like to think that the soil I create is going to be a good home and nurture the plant. If its not doing well, I only have a few methods to change its environment, Water, Calcium, Magnisium, PH and Flush. I have a very good light, much like your new one. I don't have a Humidifier, I know raise the pots in drip pans and always have water in there, during winter, pots are like a little Island, its very dry in the tent, I get to 40 pct max. I ounce in a while put some dry nutrients in, top feed to try to get them happy. I also use molasses in small amounts. I will be along to see how your plants turn out, you have a good setup. Cheers

Thank you Brother I have room so i don't need to do a tent if i were to do a tent id probably put a 4×4 grass roots raised bed With blumat carrots in a 5×5 tent and do a couple plants at a time.
I like to keep the humidity about 50%/55% if im able with the bed its easy with all the surface area but that's one thing I'll need to get used to is the lack of humidity swings from lights on to off with that LED I'm used to the factory lights
Dr Elaine Ingram has a good YouTube video on molasses and it's uses and how it's a simple sugar which is a bacterial food check it out some time its PRETTY GOOD 👍
.

You know i actually work for a place that makes insulated walls and roof panels for grow facilities when i sell the house and move back up to God's country im going to build one i can get scratch and dent panels for a good price they have the closed cell foam REALLY ENERGY EFFICIENT Great for environmental control!
