Help with 4 X 4 Grow area setup. Pics at bottom

Actually 440w, it's not what I planned but it's the way it worked out. You can see by my pics they are not suffering any!

I don't have much of an opinion on the lamp reflector, but you amy want to get a socket extender because some cfl's don't fit in those. I've seen people but one reflector, put an extender in, then a "Y" so they could put two lamps in one reflector. It's in Roseman's tutorial if you get a chance.

I got about 4 socket extenders. If i pair them with the 7 connector thats 8 bulbs so far i can cover. I plan on buying the y extender from amazon as they are 2.60 and some more change from Hd and under 2 bucks from amazon. I will buy about 10-12 reflectors but i want to make sure i get the right ones before i buy and ensure that they will fit in a 4X4 grow tent if needed

Gotcha, those reflectors you posted are like what I was considering using before I built my pvc fixture. That's one of the fun things about growing like we do, it takes lots of imagination to get everything work for your situation.

For the right one, Make sure the reflectors have ceramic sockets and NOT plastic ones.

The difference in the two in the pic you posted is the lenght of the cord, they are both ceramic and are the ones I use.

I didn't like the one offered by amazon.

I figured that, i actually bought eight of the more expensive from hd and some more carbon for teh scrubber. Still need hardware fence and a 6 inch end cap. Going to use an old pillow for the stuffing

What do you guys think about a 3x3x6.5 grow tent for bloom? Will this tent be big enough? I want to use Deep Water Culture prob about 5 plants in an 18gal res once I am comfy enough with the grow process. Any feedback is appreciated. I will post pics later of what else I have bought so you know what I am working with so far

Haha that what happens when you want something so bad nothing can get in your way. I just want to figure things out before I go out and by a 3x3x6 tent for flowering. The 4x4 tent is a bit too large for the planned area I have. Anyhow let me know your feedback,

Cool, I will budget for the 3x3 then. I guess it depends on how I like the tent once I get to the store and look at it myself. I will post more pics once i get more stuff. Trying to find some hardware cloth is hard because "spring" has not really come yet to new england.

Your the man. I plan on using two 5 gal buckets with one plant in each. The 16sq ft I have in my closet I will use for veg for now. I am going to top it off at 5 feet. On the top of my Veg area I am thinking of having a clone area. I have not put to much thought into it yet because I want to get things rolling before i get ahead of myself. The max I will plan on using is about 4-6 plants. But as you said four is too much I will reverse the process. the 16sq feet wil be used for flower if i do more than 4 plants and the tent i will use for veg. But this is when I start to really know my sh!t which will be a long while. Anyhow for the advice, appreciated of course

Here is my recent spread sheet of the things I plan on buying before I start my bagseed. I left out a few electrical things as well as plywood and 2X4's I am going to use to turn part f my closet into my veg area. Anyhow if anyone takes the time to look over this stuff and suggest/recommend anything else I appreciate it. The things I left blank i have not figured out what exactly what to buy or the brand or what i want to use. Anyhow I will be buying these items before June, which is when i plan to get a GJ going

Edit-I am trying to make things as simple as I can when I am buying them so I am not ordering from 50 different places. The two stores I will most likely go there and purchase the stuff because I am all set with ordering online with my info and all that lol. ONly thing I will order online is the 42W feit bulbs and the other electrical stuff. Have not figured out the exact design for my veg closet but I have plenty time to figure it out.

Also here are the power fixtures i have been looking at. I will run a contractor power cord into my closet for my main connection. But here is what i have been looking at to add to my "control panel" inside my grow closet:

Controlling the temp in the room in my main concern if I use a 400w system. I want one where i can use either MH or HPS since they say hps is better for flowering.Plus I have one outlet in my room that is close to my closet which leaves me doubting it will be enough for all the electrical fitting. I will look at my circuit breaker when i get home tomorrow.

Circuit breaker in my house says 125 amps MAX with 11 breakers in the box. So its about 11amps per circuit. I currently have about three computers plugged into one outlet connected to circuit breakers of course. So I think i am good with one outlet-two sockets running everything. I will daisy chain some surge protectors but anyone think it is work buying one of them long strips from amazon?
