Yup....very important we at least , all start the drying process properly. That means , just ass Assman said...ALWAYS, hang branches/plants/buds in the dark, with as little breeze /air movement , as possible. RH and temp is another matter , but we must hang our produce in the dark with no breeze. After about 4 days , start checking on dryness, this is usually around the time most will take down weigh and jar , keeping in mind to burp jars as required every day until desired firmness in buds is reached. After this initial week or so, it's only necessary to burp/check jars every week. After the first few weeks things are stable and curing has/is taking place and removing lids is NOT recommended. Leave the lids on. If when checking the moistness, u feel /hear a pop when the lid lets go...that is a good thing and means curing has /is working . If you reach in , and things feel too wet/moist , leave lid off for a few hours, check , then re seal with lid on tight. Hope this helps guys. cheers.
