Hello All!

Yes....Seedling...good call bud!
A small(regular size) kit will run shy of completing a 16 bloom strain...BUT as Seedling said...dont worry, Doc can ship out new supplies very fast so dont concern yourself with that right now.
As far as Snake Oil...another good call Seedling....it should not be needed as the genetics are very 'clean', only having pure Haze Brothets Haze and pure Northern Lights #5,....so we are all good. We are about to grow some wicked , wicked sativa......big she will get....our only concern should/will be when to flip........this is wat will make...or break our grows....and just how good we all are at LSTing.
Our soil is proven.....our systems are proven....our cultivation skills....however have not been proven....that grow will prove to all who do it, just how good a grower you/we all are.
Exciting stuff....good times gang! :circle-of-love:

Things are looking good over here sparkey. Your in good hands without a doubt. I was lucky enough to hang out with docbud for a day at his facility years ago when his kit was in its infancy. We smoked his lemon paki and talked growing and checked out his girls. Definitely a highlight of mine and never will I forget it. I’m planning on doing a Kit grow in the near future.

Shotta...very cool u got to spend time with Doc at his place.....hes a very up front sort of man and has the utmost respect from me.
Meeting him in Jamaica , spending time with him and being by his side over the years beta testing his kit i have come to respect him even more.
We are all very , very lucky to continue to have him by OUR side.
Cheers Shotta....enjoy your day bud...and stay healthy... :high-five:

Awesome dude. Jamaica with the doc epic times I’m sure. Yeah he has the utmost respect from me and he is one of the very few who took a totally different approach then the other 95 percent of the industry. I’m not gonna lie his lemon paki is at the top 5 best herb I have ever smoked. When I did his kit years ago I think it was 2013-2014 is when my marriage failed and l had to abandon the grow never able to finish that one. I need redemption now.
hope you and your family are well Duggan and sparkey and all you other herb farmers.
One love

With the small kit and the NH grow.....the flower time is way longer, so there is a pretty good chance you will run out of something. Depending where you are....(USofA?) and how long it takes to get the package, you could just wait until you start getting low and order a few bulk bottles of the ones you are needing. They usually ship fast enough that it isn't a huge deal. If you plan on sticking with the kit.....just order up the full bulk kit when you can afford to. It is most definitely worth it in the long run.

I do not think Snake Oil is necessary for the NH grow. Snake oil was designed as a supplement for salt loving (hydro) OG type Frankenstrains that are heavy feeders. Sativas like NH should be perfect for a first run soil and shouldn't be such a heavy feeder.....therefore should have no need for the SO. If money isn't an issue, go ahead and grab it so you have it when you need it.....but if you want to get through the NH grow on a budget, I would hold off.....but that is just me.

Yeah, this filter doesn't strip the water like RO. It isn't coming out pure H20, it only removes the bad stuff. Pretty sure it leaves salts and minerals intact, so you should keep that in mind when looking at ppm. Without getting into scientific jargon....It will remove all the bad stuff, and leave the good stuff.

Appreciate the info @seedlingmtl and also stopping by. I need to get over to your journal today after work. Im sure its poppin with your skills and using the Doc kit:high-five:

Still waiting for them to dry. I try to hang them for 7-10 days then to the jars they go. I have been smoking samples from day 42. Can’t wait to smoke some of the finished nuggets they look beautiful. You are gonna have great success using the kit. Follow instructions from @Duggan and your golden.
cheers sparkey have a great day and stay safe!

Ok, @Duggan . On the way to the hydro store to buy promix hp 3.8 and 30lbs of ewc. Then to Walmart to buy storage containers/trash can and (5) purified gallons to get this soil cooking.
If not, i will have to wait for my ppm water meter on Tuesday.
Will the gallon purified water work so i can get rolling with this process today? :high-five:
Just want to let you know what im doing so we dont go backwards. lol..thanks buddy

Hey,Sparkey !
I've been lurking in your Journal, learning about the DBHBB.
I don't say much when the subject is something I don't know much about (which is a crapload of stuff :) )
But I don't want you to think I'm not checking out your journal- I am,but quietly....
And your ladies are looking beautiful!

Just got home from the craziness. Couldnt go in the hydro store , all transactions were out front of the store. Probably, a good thing.
Then went to Walmart- bought 50gal tote and had to go several different grocery stores to pickup purified water. They were all out of water..geez
Got to the check out a the cashier said there was a 2 unit limit...but she let me buy all five gallons..
Going To go mix now:
*promix hp bale
*30lbs ewc 1-0-0
*20oz first run
Roughly 3-5gallons RO water
Tarp, shovel
Duggs mentioned to water the soil as the mix goes into the container to keep it neat..
Ok, be back it a bit..if i missed something, please let me know..thanks

Got the soil mix done with 5 gallons of water:high-five: and yes duggs, that looked perfect..thank you :high-five:
