Heavens Shores - Bill's 2022 Grow: Come Meet Howie! Show Us Your Grow Too - Bring A Pic

That'll warm em up Bill! Any thoughts on a heat sink for lights out? Hot things like HOT buckets of water or rocks etc? Too much work maybe?
It's between midnight and 6 am temp drops.
So it should be warm enough until then.
11pm lights on 4 am lights off.
Hopefully the heat will be enough.
I close the back vent at night, no circ fan at night either.
It's got to help.
I'm probably moving the big water tanks in this week coming.
One for sure, don't know if I need all 3.
We will see how it goes.

That's good. Watch rh at lights out. Mine goes up like craze when temps go down. I don't know if it's important in the GH so much?

Controlling rh in there would be tough.
But it usually sits in the 50's

Hey Bill,

Mars and Medic lights- damn that should be a Turbo and a half for the greenhouse!

Heat wave warnings for the week- stay cool brother. :surf:
Thanks Rex. :ciao:
Did you get the heating system hooked up to your pool yet.?
Your going to be chilly with out it.
We must be cooler by the river at night.
It's been cold. 🥶
This will fixem up nicely though.
BTW. I took down the Mars.
Don't want to push it on the extension cord.
1800w max I think on a 50' #12 extension cord, but I could be wrong.
I'm expecting big things in the next couple weeks. :yahoo:

Not yet, but the pool is warm enough. It's only slightly chilly, not too bad. Leaves you refreshed .

I'm sure we're using the same cord.

125V/15A/1875W

You could use two of them, and have them on separate breakers :cheesygrinsmiley:.

I'm going to be lucky to get away with this one.

That's good! Some night when you're awake an hour after lights out give a look and see just for curiosity sake. A fan may be wanted during that time.
Thanks Stone. :ciao:
I'm usually up so I'll check it.

You could use a Bluetooth/wifi thermostat, it can send you notifications, when the limits get too high, or low.
Just so you don't have to be in there when the lights are out but ig it doesn't actually matter since there's moonlight? (no idea how that works outside lol)

I have a remote sensor.
I'm awake at 4 I'll just have to remember to look, oh yeah and put in the remote sensor..

I don't have my code book handy but cords are rated much higher than general circuit wiring. And BTW from my work with electricians the wiring in your home is 14 and depending on who I talk to the number of outlets can be 10 to 20. It's a very strange and not nailed down amount but you can see a lot at even 10. The breaker is the judge. Cords get treated differently. I know you won't go by my note, and shouldn't, but check into it if you need. If I find the book (from the 80's) I'll have a look. Wait, haven't you done wiring work?

Also, length of the run factors in as well, right?

Hey TC here is that pic I mentioned
You can just hear

Howie whisper

" I know she said ok but I don't think she had this in mind. " :rofl:
