@Bill284 is a master grower because he took one look at a photo of my airpot and said that’s upside down.
My 5G and 15G’s? Are even sized holes all down. Just one edge has no holes designed for the top, because we want water drainage and airflow down the bottom.
Of 19 airpots today I did 10 wrong way.
Just counted.
I’m not going to repot because mine are $2USD each for the huge ones and $1 for 5G and so have level gradient (same sized holes all the way down). I’ll just get a drill bit and drill out for drainage and flow.
In my defence there were no instructions woth any of them and the huge one didn’t even come with screws despite messagingbwith the vendor to confirm it was a full set of base, walls and screws before ordering. But they were only $2 each
Yeah the knowledge is out there - you just need to ask the right question.
Thanks Bill - OG Master! That could have cost me so much. Think - less drainage and air at the bottom what a dank horrible place that could become in a hot humid environment. 9 plants fine. 9 dying of root rot. Because I missed something. Love ya Bill. Thanks.
