ISO is fine, neither are good for consumption, can purge as long as you like and they’ll always be a slight aftertaste. Never used Ethanol always ISO.Just going by what bill said: he was going to use Rick Simpson's recipe & rick never used ethanol
It was either Naphtha or ISO
Hey Bill hope you and yours are well mateThanks Shed I appreciate it.
There were so many things that happened for this to come together , Stacey found out afterwards the whole story.
The odds are astronomical that it all worked out.
I told her to buy a lottery ticket.
Also I've never made RSO before either.
But I'm fed up buying it I'll tell you That.
I've been so busy I haven't had a chance to check out all the methods.
I'll check medmanmike out that's great.
I'm completely open to suggestions as to best safest methods, don't want to hurt myself.
Tell me Shed you must have an incredible memory, you recall so much info from so many different sources.
Mine is fading fast lately, doc said there is nothing to be done at this point.
Eat right, avoid stress and get lots of sleep was her recommendation.
So if I start calling you She'd again you'll know why.
Take care my friend.
Stay safe

For sureLovely collection of jars Bill. Kinda makes you forget all the struggles to get there!
The best kind!
The yard looks so bare.interesting reading about the rso and iso. thanks for the link to medmans post,, interesting indeed
i have seen at least two tutorials on making rso , both by doctors in some field or other,, using iso alc,,
so that is what i do,,
however,, if i was making this oil for anyone but myself then indeed the iso remnants would be a concern
my thinking is that any possible benefit from using the rso, for whatever, the benefits will out weigh the negatives
my thinking only,, y'all do your own,, ha
thanks @Bill284 , and @InTheShed , for the fresh look
peace out
a serious trim day and i near forgot,, i gotta make some cobs,, i am near out of cobs too,, sheesh,, for sure a low point for me since i started growing jan 2015,,
but mega plants took care of that,, ha
There is no support this far north.Hey bro did you ask your Dr. about any clinical trials? I know it’s a shot in the dark but ya never know. CL
I keep looking for my plant. It is a little bit of a letdown not seeing it in the gardenThe yard looks so bare.
Good luck trimming Amigo.
Have a great evening.

Now you tell me.Guess my short replies get the best of me. Nev mentioned It was dry, no rain there for a while & wondered where the moisture came from
yes, that is where it came from, but it condensed inside the bud, near the stem at night when it got cold
That is why you have to check inside your buds for mold
First sign of leaves in bud looking dead, bend the bud open to check for rot
a big reason why you should always water in the morning & never in the evening especially come fall
Wonerful job, Bill. I took your advise about the RH. I took them from dry, to my 8 level basket. Jar the top-level with hygro-meter and grove-bagging in the mid-sixties, but never in my life have I did those stairs so much. While slowly doing a close trim on my other 2 out-doors before hanging, I solved my space problem.
Thanks Keith.Looks like a candy store
Give them time Amigo.Oh dear, holy crap hahahaha i believe thats a boat load as they would say.
Mine still smell like hay
Thanks Joe.ISO is fine, neither are good for consumption, can purge as long as you like and they’ll always be a slight aftertaste. Never used Ethanol always ISO.
Both will have food grade versions but all this means is that it is safe for use on kitchen utensils and cleaning, not human consumption.
I’ve been taking it nearly everyday for 5 years now. I’m ok
If I make some and it has more of a taste then I’d like I just leave it on the side for a few days. ISO evaporates at room temperature so will eventually burn itself out to residual amounts
Thanks Joe.Hey Bill hope you and yours are well mate
Id advise to do it outside on an electric hot plate. I’m the only one out of my group who still has eye brows. I know my safety around RSO

I follow Ricks instructions. I learnt from here a few years ago but is the same method and stepsThanks Joe.
Is there a particular way you make it?
Or just follow Rick's instructions?
Take care.
