Hey Darade. :ciao:

You're making great pace, Bill.

A grow tent takes me roughly 8-10 hours, I can't imagine how long a new shed would take me, a week, a month, maybe a year? x'D

I can't wait to see it once it's all done, just make sure to be safe, and take as much time as you need.

Safe Regards,
Darade.

These pics are something else amazing Beautiful plants to
Thanks SmokeyB I appreciate it.:thanks:
Keeps me busy.
That and trying to finish the new grow room.
Hope everything is going well today my friend. :ciao:
Take care.

are you heating the shed for winter or just running summer grows bill ?
I'd like a mini split in there.
It'll be year round.
Probably a cheep heater at first.
Probably a 5x5 flowering room and a 5x4.5 veg room.
10 and 8 feet high respectively.
Then a 5x10 work area with a bench and control center.
I'd love one of those new @VIVOSUN SYSTEMS.
But I have more lights than I can use right now.
Worst case scenario that 1000₩ MedicGrow in a 5x5b:woohoo:
Tell me that doesn't make you smile. :cheesygrinsmiley:
Hope your having a great day my friend.
Any suggestions for cheep heat to start?

you're gonna want something forced air - as in a furnace. the size of the space is going to warrant it. my pops does hvac for a living. you can do it electric, but it'll cost eye watering amounts.

if you had the bucks up front you could do solar panels and all electric. alot of back yard / laneway units are going that way. it's a big cost up front, but then you have zero energy payments.

edit : insulate well and retain all the waste heat from lighting etc you can.

Know anyone around with a small wood stove with a blower? More work having to split wood and whatnot but it’s darn good heat!

i have a friend who lives yr round in a cabin and grows. he uses a furnace, a wood stove, and electric. a multi prong approach keeps his costs lower.

The gas line is literally beside the shed.
I don't have my ticket anymore ot I'd hook up a little gas unit.
The compressor for the minisplit is there aswell.
I wonder if I could run 2 unit off it?
All Roxul insulation.
I'd like to cover the walls in some sort of insulation board and paint it white.
Yes just have angle brackets everywhere.
I'm running the electrical in the surface, probably BX - 14/2 to each outlet.
60 Amp sub panel in there, depending on heat.
Solar would be amazing.
It's under trees though .
But the steel roof of the house would be perfect. :thumb:
It's a matter of hay right now though.
I'll see what I can find.
