I gotta say, I think oil filled radiators are the only way to go now. They are inexpensive, you can buy four for under 150$ CAD usually, Cad Tire, they save electricity and are the safest choice by leaps and bounds. Will also find happy homes in the house when not in use, trust me.I'm just looking at heaters this morning.
5 c is freeken cold, it's only September.
That's one of my favorite movies.
I have a tip for you.Damnit Bill, now I have to get a damn greenhouse. That is just too sweet a set up. I need one as soon as I move. Beautiful work as always.
Don’t use logs and make a fire.I have a tip for you.
What ever size you think is big enough DOUBLE IT.
Thanks Mucker, I just love it.

Clockwork Orange is his finest work! I’m with you all the way! I love this too, but it’s still the only book I ever read that truly scared me at the time. I was like 10 or something and we just got to our weekend rental in the mountains and I had my own room as the oldest kid. It was late night and everyone is asleep and I can’t put the book down. I was terrified. Room 213? The twins? The lady in the tub? SUPER creepy. By far his scariest book imho. That's one of my favorite movies.
I've seen it in Imax. The beginning is freeken amazing going through the mountains.
I find something new every time I see it.
That and believe it or not Clock Work Orange too.
Just Singing in the rain, hehe.
Weird I know.

Agreed. It's the cheapest, most cost effective route. Wish I had remembered to suggest it earlier. That's what I was going to suggest. I saw a design with two sheets of poly and a fan installed to keep the two separated. Air is a great insulator and, since you're not growing through the winter, you really only need to keep the worst of the chill out.
Clockwork Orange... yeah you never ever hear singing in the rain the same way again. lol! That's one of my favorite movies.

Hi Bill!
That's what I use, controlled by an inkbird set real low, just to keep things from freezing. But my climate is much milder.I gotta say, I think oil filled radiators are the only way to go now. They are inexpensive, you can buy four for under 150$ CAD usually, Cad Tire, they save electricity and are the safest choice by leaps and bounds.
