I'm just looking at heaters this morning.
5 c is freeken cold, it's only September.
Home Dpt has a Stanley 1500w with good reviews.
Won't keep it warm but might take the chill off.
Hopefully it doesn't snow until November.
Maby a big white tarp overtop might help with the heat.
I don't know if it blocks too much sun during the day though.
I see greenhouses with white poly all the time.
You have any thoughts on that?

I have to drive unfortunately. When I fly the issue with my inner ears tries to kill me. I don't remember the following three days after my last 6 flights. From the sounds of it this has likely been a not-so-small-mercy. Afraid my next trip to Holland is going to have to be by boat, the long way around too, dammit. Ah, maybe one last time.... and I'll just move there permanently.

I don't know if you caught it last night but I smoked for the first time since fall and for like, the 5th time in ten years. I was holding out to only smoke my own, purely for $$ reasons but you might catch me acting otherwise. Anyway I had totally blacked out the fact that when I lived in The Netherlands I was smoking almost once a week. What Happens in Amsterdam, stays in Amsterdam apparently, like, you won't even remember it yourself when you get home. Shades Vegas pretty hard when you think about it. lol.

That's what I was going to suggest. I saw a design with two sheets of poly and a fan installed to keep the two separated. Air is a great insulator and, since you're not growing through the winter, you really only need to keep the worst of the chill out.
