Heavenly Hybrid’s Hideout: Jump In Anytime

That link doesn't work but it does let us know to look in your signature. And that link works!
Thank you, I had to fix a couple of them. All set now. :thanks:

Happy New Year, HH! Here's hoping your 2022 is filled with bountiful gardens and lots of love and laughter! :hugs:

What a sweet guy, Shed
No worries here so far. We have a river that goes through town, and it’s high as hell, but we’re uphill from that. So sad for those areas, the water was so deep. Lots of farmland, I always worry about the animals too.

Hi grow buddies, I’ve got a tiny update that I’ll share here, since it’s not really part of the sponsor grow. I finally got some Candida cuttings to root (yay!) I had two failed attempts and I was getting worried. Third times the charm, right? The Candida mom is crazy root bound and looking pretty shabby, so it’s a big relief.

I took 7-8 cuttings and 3 had roots. I kept two just to be safe, but they’re both looking pretty good.

Candida continues on!!

Well done HH! Those Candida are hard to come by these days, hopefully you can get it bigger and stronger when up-potted. :thumb:

Congrats on successfully cloning a new Candida, HH! May she continue to grow strong.

Thanks Stunger, Candida is a must-keep! Maybe forever?

Thanks HG, they look a little off now. Maybe I’ll keep the mom until I see some healthy new growth on the newbs.
Way to go Hh! It’s quite a relief to get a cloning method that works for you, I know I felt that way when I finally got one that worked.
Thanks N, it really is, and such an easy one too. I had two failed tries, but I think the temps and humidity were too low. I also washed some new perlite to cover all the bases. So glad it worked. (whew)

I’m cloning CD-1 as we speak. Never had issues until this run. Think it gonna work out though. Temp and humidity is where it’s at.
Seems like I’ve had spotty cloning attempts. Sometimes I can get roots the first try on lots of cuttings and sometimes zip! I think I’m finally getting it dialed in.
Yay indeed! :welldone:
Yay indeed. That one little seed invested in me, I must keep her going.

Hi everyone! I have a new pic of the Candida clones to quickly share.

They’re both showing healthy new growth up top, so I went ahead and tossed the last mom I had. Poor thing was so root-bound. Relieved to have some good clones once again! :)

I hope all is well with you and you’re staying safe, lovelies!
