I need the ability to :laughtwo: and  this!!

Lol, thanks boo, we need all the support we can around here, especially this lil mango!

I’ve usually grown 5 or 6 in the tent before. I was hoping the have 4 biguns this time, but honestly that ship has kinda sailed already; with me being slow to drop seeds and even more so with not being able to get them all to pop in a timely manner. Well Boo, you’ve convinced me :high-five:

Plants are looking fabulous HH! Congrats on the new baby! Sorry for the loss of the last mango but fingers crossed and cheering on this next one! :cheer:

You already can. And may I be your princess please!? :battingeyelashes: I just this morning realised the first 2 on top of my list for this year are Kushy  ... based on what I’ve recognised I need the most of, medicinally.
big fan of Crockett’s family farm strains
Have heard good things about them. Looks like a lovely lot of seeds.

Candidas are looking absolutely recovered, well done and the whole tent looks awesome! Are those “Diablos”? If so, pls tell me what size that tent is and what watts you run them.
:Namaste:

Yes and yes!! Kush suits me very well and I’m planning to experiment a bit within the harvest windows, when we get there.

The candidas are looking deceptively decent in the pics. The tops are making a nice show, but below the canopy... yikes. Lots of yellowing and shriveled up leaves. Buds are still building well enough, but we still have a few weeks to go, so I’m a bit worried. I’m hoping the increase in MC helps. It seems like the living soil just never really took off. Next time.
They are the rspecs, those diablos looked really nice too, but when I started shopping, they were still pretty new and out of stock.

:thumb: I just helped a buddy get some of the D’blos. I’ll send him that photo :D as an example of the ‘predecessor’ in action. He’s migrating from Metal Halide I think - something fairly old school anyway, that churns out too much heat! That picture should make him smile!

... when you will read all the instructions before starting, right!? :nerd-with-glasses:

The flowering girls are looking great! They get 2 thumbs up from me!

The moon rocks look really good, I’ve never tried them myself but have heard they are quite good and get you quite stoned... you know if your into that kind of thing :cheesygrinsmiley:

Congrats on the new seeds!! I never heard of Crocketts Family Farm before so after I read your update I popped over to their site and I gotta say they have some very nice strains! The Cherry you picked should be great can’t wait to see how she does for you!

Thanks N!! :thanks:
We tried a little bit of the moon rocks, but we keep on accidentally smoking weed first! Old habits die hard I guess, lol. We tried some of the cbg buds too and it felt pretty nice. I want to try to a couple more times to really get a feel for how it feels.

I must admit, I’m pretty glad Boo nudged me to drop that seed too. I’ve been wanting to try a Crockett’s seed for a long time. Hope I haven’t built it up too much! They’re kinda pricy though, definitely gone need to run some clones to cut those costs!

Haha about the accidentally smoking first.

I have heard good things about Crockett's seeds too. So many choices out there. I really want someone to narrow down the choices for me so I can go straight to the really good ones. I wouldn't feel so bothered if I knew I had a 1000 year life span, then I could comfortably test hundreds out! But as it stands with growing outdoors once a year, I really want a jump start on what are the most amazing strains to grow out, even if they are twice the price, just to know a particular strain will be a real winner would be great!

It’s so tough to pick! Feels like such a stab in the dark. Plus people feel the effects differently too. One of my family members grew out some white widow and she loves it, but I wasn’t much of a fan, so it’s a calculated risk I guess. I know I generally like Kushes, so I tend to stay in that lane for the most part. I can see what you’re saying. It would be hard to just pick a couple for outdoor, putting all your chips in just a few baskets. Do you have a limit on how many you can grow during your season?

Yes it really feels like a stab in the dark when it comes to choosing seeds.
My plant limit is what I can fit on my balcony! And plus I can only let them get to 2 feet tall or a few inches more as they have to stay low for stealth to keep them below the neighbouring houses sightlines, and while I could, I suppose, pack more in, the resulting dank smell could be pushing it for stealth in the neighbourhood! Currently I have 3 photos growing. I got 23oz from 3 last year, but I started 6-8 weeks later this year to keep them smaller, but I am not sure what the result will be as they seem to like this year's soil mix which I amended over winter and possibly I will get a similar yield this time.:smokin:

I do the moonrock first, and I usually don't need to get any "stoneder" ;) although I still do sometimes....

Your Candida forest is looking .... like a forest! ...Beautiful plants, HH!

First off, an update on the flowering candidas + afghani.
I can smell that while sitting at work...it's beautiful in there no matter what's happening below the surface!
And over in the veg tent, we have another new arrival - blackberry kush!
:cheer:
the queen of kush
As Boo said, we will call you the Queen of Kush regardless. :cheesygrinsmiley: Grow what moves you!
Welp... :rip: lil fighter mango kush seed.
:( and :goodluck: with the next one.
You are already the queen! Cram it in! You can do this!
LOL!
putting all your chips in just a few baskets
Eggs? Or is this related to a British french fry ad?

Lmao!! That explanation could work I suppose. Alas my dearest Shed, that would appear to be a stoner’s cross of “betting all you chips” and “putting all you eggs in one basket”. :laughtwo:

I’ve just tried it a couple times so far now. Man, it really made me choke and smokes like hash, but the feeling is subtly different than smoking thc. I want to give it a few more tries still to develop an opinion on it. It’s hard for me to step up to the bong and adjust my expectations of how I’m going to feel when I’m done. It’s kind of the same thing for smoking cbd, I do better with cbd capsules for that reason alone, no expectations attached. Lol.

Man, it really made me choke and smokes like hash,
Yeah, it's a little rough on the ol' lungs- small hits are definitely the way to go...
Give it ten or fifteen minutes to kick in, before you smoke any "regular" stuff- it kind
of sneaks up on you.:lot-o-toke:

Lol, sounds fun!

The couple times I did try it, I was happily stoned enough for the regular 1-2 hours, so I didn’t need the THC hits. So far, the best way I could try to describe it is, it’s like Coke vs Diet Coke, Budweiser vs. bud light. Lol, it’s weed “lite”.

Hello my friends! I come bearing good news...
We finally have a mango kush!

I got some Velcro 1gallon bags. So far, I’m really happy with the quality of these bags. I’m glad they don’t have handles because I always cut those off anyway, and I like how tall they are. After watching Shed’s recent tutorial, I think they’ll work out really well when I need to root trim.

I did some calendar counting and it looks like I’ll probably be cutting down all the candidas in about 2 weeks. Let the countdown begin! I’m pretty happy to have the trim bag, because the idea of hand trimming all those plants at once
o_Oo_Oo_O my back hurts just thinking about it!

That’s everything I’ve got for now. I hope you’re all doing well and staying safe. Remember to take a nice deeep breath every once in a while and do take care of yourselves my lovelies!

Yeah for Mango Kush! So happy for you that she made an appearance! All the other little ones are looking great! Early congrats on the upcoming harvest, the trim bag will make life a lot easier. I keep thinking I should look into something to take some of the work out of trimming, maybe one day but I keep spending my grow budget on other things lol.
