Heavenly Hybrid’s Hideout: Jump In Anytime

Hello, hello, hello all!! :yahoo:

I hope everyone is doing well, or at least hangin in there. We’re doing well here and plugging right along. I wanted to pop in and say hey. I’m looking down the barrel of a very busy couple weeks coming up. Obviously thanksgiving and the loads of work that will be (for my kids to say they don’t want any since its not a fish stick). The next day is one of the boy’s birthday, followed by Mr H’s birthday a couple days after that! Needless to say, it will be a hectic week in the kitchen. Plus I think there will be some harvesting in the mix too? Lmao, I don’t want to even think about it! :lot-o-toke:

Speaking of harvest.... I’ve cut my first girl down from this batch. Miss Candida is the first to make her way down the harvest belt.

She was SO floppy! More floppy than any of her older sisters have been. She was topped multiple times and I’m pretty positive that’s what caused it.

After I was able to move that floppy ol Candida out of the tent, I decided to check trichomes on Sour Tangie and I’m glad I did! She was totally ready, almost too ready, so she got the chop too!

And here she is hanging up. She was a big one.

I tried to keep them whole for drying, but as I was swinging her over the dry line, her stems snapped at the base, so three pieces she is. This was the first time I left 6 nodes at training (opposed to the quad), I’ll say that it seems like it gives a bigger yield, but they were/are more difficult to manage. There was no taking them out of the tent without someone(s) collapsing. I will likely stick with the quad for future trainings.

So very briefly, that’s the current status on the harvest hotline! The lights are off, so I’ll be sure to grab a picture of the current tent residents later tonight. 2 down 3 to go!

I’m not sure how much catch up I’ll be able to do before this next week and craziness ensues, but I’ll do my best.

Until later my dears! Sending you all hugs and loves during these crazy holiday times.:love::ciao:

Doing better now! Congrats on the takedowns (and keeping the Candida upright...now I know why it's hard to find bamboo :)). And wish the boys a Happy Birthday from your friends here at 420mag.

:circle-of-love:
Lmao, crazy bamboos this round. I felt like I was watering them through a jail cell.
Welcome back, HH! :high-five: :cheer:
Thanks Sye! Good to be back :D
Hey HH,

Doing a drive by to say I’m glad you are back and you have a gorgeous fresh harvest to be congratulated on!
Thanks 13! More of those are on the way.

So I remembered my camera during last nights watering. Having lights come on in the evening has thrown me for a bit of a loop. I thought it would be fine, but the truth is, I’m pooped by the end of the day! This grow has suffered a little for it, we’ve just been on cruise control for quite a while now. But here they are, the 3 left standing

I have only checked trichs for Bubba Kush so far, but I’m guessing she’ll be the next one down. They’re at mostly full cloudy, but I’ll probably give her another week to develop a little amber since she’s a Kush. Poor afghani is so shabby looking, a bunch of her stems are just hanging upside down at this point. She was another clone that was topped several times and let me tell you, I will not be making that mistake again!

That’s all I’ve got for you today, my grow buddies! I’m still trying to make rounds and visit journals, so if you need me, that’s where I’ll be. :D

Great looking plants. They really looked awesome! Would definitely like to see the trichomes on her.

If you guys would like to come check out my grow journal, I’ll post the link right here.

Hi there ChronicTrees, welcome to the hideout! I only have the trich pics I took from Bubba Kush, but I’m happy to share some.

Nice bunch of flowers! Is that Afghani in a 5 gallon pot?
Thanks Shed. This round I decided to K.I.S.S. And they’re all in 3s.

I'd say at least a week on the Bubba Kush. Loads of clear in there.

That might explain the look of the Afghani. Given how big it is it could be root bound.
Cool, that was the plan. Plan confirmed!

She probably is, I did some root coring along the way. At this point, I’m really just limping her across the finish line.
Hooray for harvest day!
Don’t forget to take it day by day during the busy times, take a break every once in a while, here;
:passitleft:
Thanks DAB! That is an excellent piece of advice and I will heed it fully. Lol, especially that bit at the end :passitleft:
:circle-of-love:Helloooooooo!
Hello lovely!! :Rasta:

Super looking flowers HH! Great rewards for a lot a hard work. I hope my Bubba Kush gets that frosty. Here's a lil budlet. Stay stoneder

Congrats on the harvests so far, HH!
The remaining ladies are looking right on track for a day after Thanksgiving harvest!

Lmao, bite your tongue! :laughtwo:
Actually that will work out pretty great, especially if I can get them to hang dry for 5-7 days. I also have a little trick up my sleeve... :nomo:
