Heat issue

can someone tell me do you get more heat of a 125wcfl or more of a 250hps am trying to sort out a heat prob i have 2 9inch fans blowing and a 4inch extractor fan next to my light but cant seem to gt the temp down do i just need to gt bigger fans or a intake of cool air from outside...thanks

you need to make some kind of exhaust that blows air out of the grow area. the fans you have are enough already, theyre just blowing the hot air around the room rather than cooling it off.

yup you need to get the heat from the bulbs out first.

Is the light in an enclosed fixture that allows direct heat extraction?

does the 4" fan pull air out of the room?
