HealingKronic's 6 OG Kush X Purps & 6 Purple Urkle Soil Grow 2000 Watts

well the dankouver is nice strain but not quite what im looking for.

also this time i will have a second 1k watt light so i will also be spreading the plants further apart to promote larger undergrowth. that was a big issue this grow. i got a lot of large colas but hardly anything worth saving more than 13 inches below canopy. it will be nice hash later :slide:

I understand completely, and you are going to be very happy with 2k in there. Whew! I wonder how deep my lights will penetrate into my canopy. I've cropped from the ground to about 6 inches below canopy.

update!

--btw, its not a big insect problem ive just had those strips out for like 3 weeks!

That makes me feel better then. Still, the immature fungus gnat grubs are eating the fine hairs on your roots, and they need those fine roots. Besides, the Bt-i will make sure that you never have to swat one out of your face again.

Bt-i is Bacillus thuringiensis var. israelensis. Here, I copied this from Bugwood wiki:

Bugwood Wiki said:
Bacillus thuringiensis var. israelensis

The israelensis (or H-14) strain of Bacillus thuringiensis is effective for control of certain fly larvae, notably mosquitoes, blackflies, and fungus gnats. (It is not effective against house flies, blow flies, shore flies and many other fly species.) Formulations sold for use as a soil drench to control fungus gnats include Knock-Out Gnats and Gnatrol.

This bacteria preys on the larvae of fungus gnat very well. I get Gnatrol repackaged into smaller containers. It's a dry granule that will suspend in your feed for a bit. It will settle out after a few minutes, so remember to remix constantly. I put 1 teaspoon in per gallon of feed once a week. It works great even without molasses or anything like that (though I do use that now as well).

:peace:

I have heard great things about Gnatrol. Another remedy for all kinds of soil borne bugs is to start a culture of beneficial nematodes in the soil. They bore into the larvae for a meal.

hey man. your babies look great.
i'm glad you got the leaf curl fixed, i can't wait to see how they all grow, i've wanted to try Purpl Urkle since i first heard the name.

i is jealous, you are great man. haha.

keep it up dude.

HK nice job with the leaf curl! I just read that you did a flush and it worked. Just get rid of those little critters and it'll be down hill from here on out!

Thanks for the nomination bud. Your crazy my friend! How could anyone win that looks like me :rasta: (that's on a good day). Everyone would have to hide the woman and children and let the dogs in!

That Dankouver harvest was awesome. I'm a bit slow keeping up with journals lately. Hope to see similar successes with this one. Nice to be back.
