Heads up: I got scammed by Coffee Shop Seeds

Tall and airy/ short and dense are characteristics associated with sativa/indica but not the defining factors. Leaf stomata are how you determine genus. Stomata are pores on the leaf that open and close. They draw in CO2 while releasing O2 and water vapor. Indica have fewer and smaller stomata to retain water. Sativa have many and larger stomata to expel water. It isn't a better wax coating keeping water out. It is the ability to shed excess water quickly after the rain stops. Towels left in a bucket of water for days will not mold. If you spread one out on a cloths line and wad the other up on the floor which will mold? You need saturation and air over time to grow mold. Remove saturation in a shorter time, mold can't grow.

I grow equatorial sativas. prune for air flow, and grew on the prevailing windward side of hills. Did that for 20 years without any mold issues. The plant that did mold was one I forgot I planted. The suburbs pushed out to me so I moved indoors almost 20 years ago.

Terpenes are essential oils that can be effective against mold and spores. Cannabis stores it's terpenes in the trichomes. When the mold eats into the trichomes they spill open killing the active mold and some of the spores. Great for the plant because it protects the seeds. Saving the plant at the expense of the trichomes kind of defeats our purpose of growing them.

It is late and I am tired. but to be responsible, I should say that Coffee Shop sent me 1 (maybe two??) seed varieties from my original order (Diesel and Special Queen), and two from my requested replacement order, CBD Black Jack, and Llimonet Haze CBD.
Frankly, I do not remember ordering Special Queen because it is low CBD, and I do not remember ordering low-CBD anything--plus I already have skunk seeds. But maybe I made a mistake?? (Maybe.)
He also sent Llimonet Haze Ultra CBD and CBD Black Jack, both of which are from the replacement list.
So it was kind of a patchwork order fulfillment, and I now have duplicates on diesel, but we will make the best of it.
I hope to refocus on happier things.

Hi all. I am very sorry to report that I got scammed and then ghosted by James of Coffee Shop Seeds.
I ordered beans on 8/8/2024, and CFS took my money.
Later James wrote back to say that they were out of the beans I needed (Juanita la Lagrimosa), and would I please make another selection?
I said, no, sorry but I need that strain (CBD sativa), please have a refund, and I asked information about ANOTHER strain (so I could buy it) and he never responded! He just ghosted me completely, even though I wrote him several times.
UGH!!!!!! Now I have to involve my bank, and hope I get a refund (because I got busy and forgot, and things went outside of the 30 day window). So probably I am 100% ripped off by James of Coffee Shop Seeds.
I want to report this here, so no one else gets hit.
I hope you have better success.

I think the only reason he sent me anything was because I started this thread.

The 30 day window from your bank is baloney. That's ridiculous. Go to the top if needed.

I don't like credit cards, but I never pay the interest. The big reason I like credit is because they are consumer friendly in disputes.

If the credit card company does not favor me, then no money for them. They turn you in, but big deal. It's meaningless, and many other companies will line up to get your business.
