Hazlenut Cream In Dirt

Would really like to see more exotic genetics grown in the kit, heard most of their stuff is fire and the kit will be the fireiest?? Haha

Doc has a few EG strains in rotatation and they do great. Unfortunately I'm not in high brix soil. Just ffof. Maybe next time but really want to run sluricane next, most likely in the kit

I'm here to watch another great grow RF! Thanks for the heads up Krip!

:passitleft:

Hey ween, welcome! May not be as spectacular as a high brix grow but will be back to that hopefully next round. Just need to pick up ewc.
Thanks again Mr. Krip.

Ill leave the shiv at home then lol

:rofl:looking forward to seeing her come around. Letting get a little wilty then a good watering. Ill water more often after that. If she needs more food ill add in Terpinator and see how it goes

Sounds like a plan. Hear good things about terpinator. I thought it was to help boost oil production mostly tho?

I really should have read the title and I would have know it was in dirt lol.

Just sprayed HC with some doc buds leaf wash and will probably spray once more before flowers set.

The clones look like they are starting to root. They'll veg in the big tent with the flowering autos.

Do you have pest issues, or just a preventative???

Just a preventative i do after flip. I'll do it a couple times until buds show. The plants really like it.

OK, so I'm still new to the Kit and read that people apply it before the flip, but I thought it was really only for pests. You say the plants like it. Is it recommended even if pests aren't a concern? Also, are you using the Snake Oil product? Thanks for the help since I'm really trying to understand the best way to use the kit!

I've only had one go round but yeah, Doc transplants into his final container, sprays the wash then puts the plant to flower. It can be used in flower up until trichs start developing. The thing is its oil based and will destroy trichs but until then youre good to go on the wash.

Its best to prevent infestation then to fight it when it apears but again you can use this until trichs apear and even up until harvest in a worst case scenario. This leaf wash is pretty much fish which stays on the plant and drops the ph on the surface so pm and pests leave the plant alone. Since its mostly fish the leaves get a beautiful shine after use. Stinks though.

Snake oil is for the salt lovers. If you have a plant that does best in a hydro environment then snake oil will help get the best out of youre high brix grow for that strain.

I will only be using leaf wash in this grow though, i use his products with his soil for best results.

Thanks, Brother! :thanks:

By "his soil", I'm assuming you're referring to Doc's HB soil recipe (ProMixHP + EWC) and you don't actually purchase the soil from him?

I do understand that his products are formulated for use in the HB soil (Doc already warned me!) and I've been planning an HB soil grow for over a year now. In fact, I think it was just about a year ago, maybe even a month or two longer, that I actually purchased Doc's kit. It won't be until next week, though, that I really get to use it; but soil has been cooking for close to three months, at this point! :)

Originally, I was going to try to keep the Bonsai Mom's in HB soil, but the 4" containers they're in are just too small, so they're getting Fox Farms nutes. I should have my new tent setup this weekend and the clones that will be flowered will all be going into 1 gallon containers with the HB soil. I'm hoping to have the first Tut clone rooted by then! :yahoo:

No, he doesn't sell ready made soil just his kit and buy the amendments needed.

Sounds like your soil is good and ready. Cant wait to see how you like it.

My moms are in ffof soil, Doc suggests 7gal min for microb activities. Love the micro moms. Have a tut in there about to put HC and then plan on sluricane.

Looking forward to you're tut grow. I think my tut would have loved the snake oil. This strain is a salt lover so you're feeds will be heavy. Had to buy bigger bottles of trans and ge and tea. Ran out running tut. Also i suggest staggering the harvest so the bud is to your liking. I think i let mine go too long. Its very heavy

Wish you luck with the smaller containers. Dunno how things will turn out but will be a challenge for sure.

Thanks, Brother!:thanks:
I don't usually stagger the harvests, but I do ALWAYS take regular samples on a new strain so I can pull it when I think she's right for me. I like the heavy indicas (I know Tut is Sativa!), so the "too long" for you sounds pretty damn good to me!

Only the Bonsai Mom's and brand new clones go in the small containers. This weekend, I'll get the tent up and, at that point, clones will all be moved to 1 gallon pots, then into 10 gallon pots to finish. The small containers are NOT suited for Doc's kit. We had quite a discussion about this on his thread. So, the Bonsai's get "traditional" nutes (Fox Farms). And, it was a unique experience since, knowing it's only for the Bonsai Mom's, I didn't bother purchasing their Bloom nutes - only the stuff needed for veg! ;)

I did see that discussion and though you intended to try it anyways, my mistake. Glad to hear those ladies will get room to stretch their roots.
