It will passGet well soon, HG...
Sorry you're having to go out in the rotten weather while you're sick, that's got to be rough!
Hope your feeling better soon. So, I've been sick with a terrible cold since Saturday and it's been a very windy and wet few days.
The outdoor plants keep blowing over and when WWxBB2 fell, it split its main stalk. We've taped it back together and have now staked the WWxBBs but we still have the CB Dutch Treats and Raspberry Cough in the gazebo because they kept blowing over and I thought putting them in the gazebo would prevent that. It didn't and I've had to go and right them several times.
They desperately need to be fed but neither of us have any energy to deal with them. I just hope they hang on a couple more days until I have some energy.
I've also been removing bud rot from the WWxBBs.
I meant to try the Jadam leaf mold solution that @Bode , @Azimuth and others are using to combat bud rot but other than buying potato flakes, I've done nothing.
I also meant to try speeding up their finishing times by using malted barley flour that @Azimuth recommended to @Carmen Ray but I haven't done anything about that either.
Hope you are feling better soon.I'm still sick with this cold. I can't believe my body can produce so much phlegm. I've been tending the plants and taking pics but I haven't had the energy to post an update yet as most days, I'm sleeping a lot. But, I did want to let you know that I know I'm way overdue on an update and hope to get something posted soon.
FYI - The Blueberries, Chronic x Northern Lights and Northern Soul are all looking good. I'm Carsticking™ sort of but need to get more bamboo sticks and gardener's wire. I say sort of as I'm not following @Carcass 's tutorial but I think I've seen it enough times, I have a general idea of what I'm doing.
The CB Dutch Treats have been put into the gazebo and that's where they'll stay. They keep blowing over when out on the deck so I've got them sandwiched between the deck table and chairs and I put a couple of bricks in CBDT1's pot as it almost broke last time it blew over.
The Raspberry Cough and CB Dutch Treats still have at least 30 days to go. I just hope the really cold weather stays away.
And, I looked at my new seedlings on Monday and 2 of them aren't labeled and one of those 2 looks like it's dying and I don't even know if it's the CB Dutch Treat or the Jack Herer. I've grown both before so maybe I'll be able to tell as it gets older??? But if it dies, I won't know which strain to replace it with... I think I'll put another CB Dutch Treat in water. See what happens when you garden when you're sick.
I have a plan for the Jack in the Winter grow, which I've been planning this week. Shopping for seeds is a fun way to spend time when you're sick.
