*** Weekly Update ***

Good evening. It's time for my weekly update. The top news this week includes:
  • I up-potted the Amnesia and Lemon Autos to 3-gallon cloth pots and added them and the Blueberry and Purple Autos to the small tent.
  • I started LSTing the Blueberry but she's showing brown on her leaves now. I don't think it's related but it's definitely an issue I need help with.
  • I topped the Purple Auto.
  • I planted the new Jack Herer seed and the 2 new Sour Diesel seeds.
Here are the photos:

*** Weekly Update cont'd...***

We'll start this page with the poor Blueberry. The first 3 photos were taken on Tuesday when I started LSTing her. The remaining photos of her are from yesterday. I was out yesterday and today and couldn't ask for help before now.

Any idea what's going on?

I'm going to start another post with the babies. No need to clutter up this post.

And, that's it. Thanks for following along.

Considering the BBa is in flower I'd say you should be around 5g/gallon by now rather than 2.

I was going to ask about what I should be feeding the autos at as I'm unclear on that since they're smaller, faster growing plants. :hmmmm: I have the MC Feeding Chart posted on the wall of the grow room but I haven't figured out how to adapt it to autos yet since the only autos previously grown were DDAs and we all know, they follow their own rules. :laughtwo:

It also has that overwatered look.
Did you transplant that into the bigger pot or start it there? I doubt it has roots that fill it from the size of the plant, so it might also have wet feet. How often does it need to be watered?

She only needed water once this week. I fed her 250 ml last Friday and then this Friday, she was so light, I gave her 2L.

She was transplanted to her 3-gallon pot from a Solo cup on June 22. I had been watering her using the 3x diameter watering method that Emilya recommended so as to help her grow her roots.

There are definitely no wet feet.

I wondered if it might be pest-related. When BD1 had a leaf issue, you advised spraying with Safer's. The BB was in the same tent as the BD originally so could that possibly be the issue?

Also, I believe MrS has a good MC strategy - for autos or photos. You might check with him.

@MrSauga - when you have some spare time, could you please advise me on the correct feeding of an auto with MC? :Namaste:

There were white marks on the leaves in the before photo. Have you looked with a loupe - especially on the bottom of the leaves?

I checked with my telescope this morning and saw no bugs. However, I sprayed her with Safer's just to be on the safe side. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I also gave her a taller pot elevator to air out the bottom of the cloth pot, which did feel wet this morning. However, I fed her 2L on Friday so that's to be expected (?).

Blueberry in Pro Mix with MC?
You know which version of MC or when you purchased it?

Looks hungry to me.

Yep. BB in ProMix w/MC. I don't know what version as the bag it came in split early on and it's now in a container. However, I just bought it last summer so it should still be good. I suspect I'm not feeding it enough but as posted above, I'm not exactly sure of the MC auto schedule. Hopefully, Mr.S. can help.

Hi nice journal here
As usual start slow and see how the plants react and adjust accordingly as per the MC feed chart
I have found that works fine
And once you see the plants are fine with full MC dose watch it take off:rollit:

:welcome: to my journal, BlackPeter. Are you currently growing?

Until MrS gets here I would just use the MC chart as your guide for autos, keeping in mind that they run from sprout to flower in under 30 days. That means that you are bumping the MC almost continually from first true leaves through pistils. From 1g/gallon to 5g/gallon in a month, in 0.5g increments.

Doesn't look bug-related to me, but good to be on the safer side!

Getting it off the ground to get airflow underneath is good idea. I still think that 2L in a 3 gallon pot is a lot of water for a plant that size.

Okay. Will do. So, next time I water, what should I feed the BB and the PA (they're roughly the same age)? 5g/gal?

It probably was too much but the pot was really light and she looked really bad so that's my excuse. I will be more aware going forward.

Thank you, Shed.

I give it 4.5 since it's not in flower yet.

So, 5 for the Blueberry, which is flowering and 4.5 for the Purple, which isn't flowering?

I found this and am thinking about printing it and adapting the MC feeding chart with it:

Life Cycle of An Autoflower
This is from 2015. I believe we understand Autos better now. Check out Farside05’s auto grows. He has pulled 29.5 oz from 3 autos by following a fairly aggressive nutrition schedule.
