Very useful comment , I think I'm going to mock you30000 Lux can be totally different under 2 different lights. They read the spectrum that is visible to your eye not so much the spectrum that is usefull to the plants. I am new to using a Lux meter to. 30000 sounds good for veg or even higher. I just wouldn't start there. I mean if your plant likes 30000 luxx in veg doesn't mean it would like the same Lux under another light. Quantum power meters are much better also much more expensive which is why I don't have one.
If you look at my journal update I just posted I am at about 1000 Lux and no I didn't forget a 0. Here is a video i thought explains things very well.
