Happy Purchase from Herbies Headshop

I placed a order with them a few weeks back. I am very happy that I finally got a company to accept my card. I paid the extra for tracking and I got an email that said:Your order #xxx-xx-xx has now been despatched by Royal Mail International Airmail. Please note no signature is required on delivery.

Unfortunately due to current problems with tracked mail not arriving we have sent your package by standard Airmail, this does not affect your guaranteed delivery and your package is fully insured.

I also received an email from my credit provider that I had been charged twice . We tried a 3-way call but I think they were closed due to a time zone difference. Anyway my credit company took off the extra charge.

I'm still very excited about finally being able to make an order. I'm sure I will receive an email about this in a timely manner after reading your reviews. If they send me double due to the confusion I will promptly send the extra back to them:)

I look forward to bringing everyone an update.

Don't worry. I received the same email saying the same thing about shipping and tracking issues. I ordered on 2nd of month. Got order on 8th

Sent from my SPH-L710T using Forum Runner

I did eventually receive my order. The first attempt didn't go through. I emailed them on the date they said to wait until. They shipped it again and it was there a few days later. Great customer service and very dependable !!! :):)

They are awesome. Herbis I got a order to do this weekend !!! number three for me and no problems. They even take the loadable green dot cards from 7/11 which is awesome.

i have had no problems with ether of my orders. except the first five pack of nirvanas ice did not pop. next order did. and they gave me six ww for he hassel. i almost had ordered the pineapple chunk, but dont like dealing with skyscrapers. lol. i may order some papaya, in time. seem to have good reports on it. i really am looking, for a strein with a super high flower to leaf ratio, that still is at least 50% indica.

i recently made a comment, i did not realize it. but most all of my results, get shit canned into the dirt in my back yard. i smoke only maybe 5-69 grams a month. and, running two 600's, and about ten plants on a perpetural grow, i am finding, that this is an expensive hobby. on my sixth year now. i love to watch em grow, and see the results! my latest seedlings, in cups, are nirvana ice, and dinas ww. we shall see! i really enjoy learning from others on here. seems, even the newbies can teach me something. according to me freind, i must have composted, anywhere from ten to 15 lbs of bud so far. lmao! recycling is good. and very organic. i will begin using some of the composted stuff, this spring.

i have had good luck ....."over all" with herbies. im sure the failures on sprouting, are of my own doing. if i keep on with this expensive habit, i want to try nirvanas "papaya".

Cannilingus, I went to check out your pictures. Looked great to me!!!! That outdoor grow was amazing. With you having 6 years under your belt, I bet you have lots of good advice for us newbies.

honestly, I am a bit on the lucky side. while i have learned quite a few things, being only a soil/soiless type, i do not give my girls the attention they deserve. I kind of lost interest for a while. but, im comming back. my main strain, over this time frame, is bc godbud. i have tried others, with decent success. i like new ones, just to see how they grow. really, if i did not do this, i would have quit by now. dr says she dont want me smoking anyway. i quite tobacco like 8 years ago, after my mom passed from phemonia, a complication of copd. looks like i have inherited it. on top of two more lung problems. sweeeeeet! not. so right now, i have the god, some white rhino, a nearly ready "strawberry blue", that im not sure how long it takes. new years eve, it will be in bloom for 63 days. and, i have some small plants, in cups, some of nirvanas "ice", and free fem ww, from dinafem. planted em at the same time. three seeds each. two of the ww are way smaller then the ice. but, its all in the phenos, and, to be very honest, i have never actually gone thu the expense, of buying ten packs of seeds, and go thru all of the results, to get one super pee-pee. lol. but, i think its just fine tuneing, anyway. i sprouted only one of five "herojuana" from sannies. it was the plain jane one. this is actually, a refined "medijuana". the old one i had was more potent, and way better flavored. but, was also a tranney. lol hermi. my very first strein, was some kind of hawaian indica. wow. great flavor. but i allways had a few seeds. and i did not know why. lol. i did not have relations with that plant!! others i have tried, i have issues with. and, i still have some of the fems left! (seeds). so. as far as helping newbies. lets see. just a few main things, to do.
when you transplant a young plant into its last container, water it in so well, it runs out the bottom. and let it drain. i put two 2x4 s across one of those four ft long platic tubs, from walmart. and they sit on that, and drip into the container. the first good water in, is the most importrant. get a moisture probe. i still use mine. dont water again, till most of the moisture has been used. not to wilt, if you can help it, but so the needle on the probe, is like a half inch from the bottom. then, water in well. i use fives. when i feed/water, about a gallon per plant. a little less. a bit comming out the bottom, is good.
dont over fertilize. most newbies do. use half as much as it says to. and only every third watering. this way, you will have a crop, and it wont be burned, and it will yeild ok. i dont think they need alot. i have tried many ferts. all seem to do the job. many are not listed as organic, and to me, this is fine. it dont mean that its poison. one that i would reccomend, for a newbie, is dynagro. its one part on each side. veg, and bloom. it works well for me. i started out on fox farm, and had some of the largest yields at that time. canna, is good. i ph my water/ferts. i have both a ppm meter, and ph. for clones, i go 58-6.0. after that, its 6.5-6.8.
what ever you end up spraying on your plants, do it after lights out. or it may burn them. i have a few green lights in my rooms. this way, i can work on em, without them seeing the light. they dont notice green light. make sure, you have no light leaks. go in, and shut the lights off. if you can see any outside spots, deal with them. no light leaks. this can and will, casue hermies, and foxtails. as you can see, my rooms are cement floors. they get cold, in the winter. so, i have em all sitting on two inch styrofoam. cheap stuff, too.
make sure you not only have air movement, but in and out. fresh. get a humidity monitor. i have the screens on my coffee table, in the house, a glance, tells me temp and humidity. i dont use any hi tech stuff. air comes thru from outside, and exits to outside.
dont let your pets in. they can bring bugs. i had no problem with em. but, i have been battleing mites for a year. all clear now. but, every time i say that, they re-appear. a good natural spray, is neem oil. 1/2 teas per qt of water, and add the same amount, of coco wet, or some other emulsifyer, like dove dishwashing soap. this lets the neem mix with water.
i was using spray n gro, for a long time. seems to help. its also a foliar spray, you apply ounce a week. and not after the third week of bloom.
so. about three weeks, from the time you think they will be "done", well, no more feed. instead, flush em good. i put a few gallons thru each one, and, when its time to water again, i flush the heck out of em again. noone likes to taste ferts. the ppm meter, is good here, as well. test your water. mine, is about 120-130 ppm. and thats mostly ca. i like to get as close to this as i can, prior to harvest. im usually satisfied, if i get it to 300. lower is better. when you consider, that at the start, it reads up to 1600 ppm. now thats alot of ferts. lol. ive been backing down, to more like 800-900 ppm, max, when i mix my ferts. well. this is a start. ill message you.
