H00k Shitz Brix & A Couple Of Other Things: Girlz 2019

...Hey Ween!...yeah... just getting the 2019 journal going now officially...tacking on the prelim to last year's journal was prolly not the best idea...confusing...anyway...glad Yer' here!... :thumb:...cheerz...:high-five:...hook...:hookah:...

...oh...just wondering if Ya' still plan to remain on site during construction, given the electrical issue, or gonna' get short term accommodation?...

:high-five:Hi Hook looking good, Nice DDA's, I have 7 DDA budsicles (6") and a couple more are finally getting some size. My A5 is a little ahead of yours and will get colloidal silver as soon as I find the sprayer.:hmmmm: I have been running 2" packing tape around my pots as a gnat defense, it does help. This is a picture from a few weeks ago that shows the tape and budsicles.

:passitleft::Namaste:

I wouldn't miss it.

...Thanks Bud...the A5 X Panama is looking real nice, even a few days after the weekend pics...If the seed project pans out, the remaining seed will definitely be given a try as well, to preserve the strain...Mucho Gracias! :thumb:...cheerz...:high-five:...h00k...:hookah: ...

I just now found your new thread, so this may have already been mentioned (if so, apologies for posting before reading), but:

...F00kin' Gnats...

...along with the stickies, I treated these pails and the bin of my second run home made organic soil with some predatory mites I picked up off the Zon'...don't know how they got there, but were annoying as hell and also in all my garden seedlings...:rolleyes:...

They say that gnats are one of the pests that a layer of diatomaceous earth on top of the soil/etc. Tears up / desiccates their larvae. Won't kill the ones that fly in to your grow space, of course, but might help kill their offspring.

By the way, looks like you're well onto your way to pulling off another awesome dr.h00k grow. Nice!

If you can keep killing off all their larvae the adults will move on and destroy someone elses garden! :headbanger::ganjamon:

...I have a big bag of it that I used in my garden beds to control slugs and cutworms...I did use it once in a couple tomato pots, but when you water, it cakes up pretty good and you gotta' scrape it off and reapply...not that big a deal I suppose...but...remember...I'm kinda lazy.........cheerz...:high-five:...h00k...:hookah:...

...so...3C for a low last night, and forecast is the same for tonight...glad the girlz are still living in the basement...I can still manage them down there for a week or two if necessary, but want to get them out under some horsepower...
...5 of the girlz got a light transplant watering today...5ml's in a gallon of water...the replacement killer is good for another week or more...I also topped the A5/Panama...Critical, Bubba and Lily are gonna be bushes methinks...

...

...have a great night...Go Raptors!...cheerz... :high-five:...h00k...:hookah:...

Yeah, that's something to keep in mind when considering it. I've been thinking about suggesting it for Mom's fruit/vegetable garden (only a few tomato and pepper plants this year, and however many onions remained after I managed to explain to her that weeds don't magically appear in an arrow-straight row, spaced 8" apart, and that she should stop removing them  ). Neither of us like the idea of strong insecticides, but something is necessary around here. Her breathing problems are a lot worse than mine, though, so I'm a bit concerned over that and the thought of her trying to apply diatomaceous earth (or Sevin Dust / etc., for that matter). I might break down and open my last bag of Diazanon. As far as I know, it's still legal for "agricultural use" even though it was banned for "residential use" back in 2004 (I think?), but I can't seem to find it in the stores around here. On the other hand, if I just continue to leave it sealed up in storage for another 15 years "because I don't want to waste it," well... I will have then become my mother <SHUDDERS>.

remember...I'm kinda lazy.

Yeah, bro, I've seen pictures of your garden setup (and the plants it/you have produced). You must be the hardest-working lazy man on the planet, lol. :thumb:

I’ve never seen the Nurse Lilly before :ganjamon: what’s her lineage?

Born from a hurried midnight union between a beat cop and a stripper, she grew up on the wrong side of the tracks (which is either side, if you're close enough to them). Twas a hard life she lived, having never met her father and always having been cautioned to avoid strangers, men in uniform, dark alleys (there were no other kind in her neighborhood), and sticky dollar bills. She could have easily ended up like her mother - torn to death by a pair of lions during a show at Bob's Boobs & Beer after her looks started slipping and other things began sagging. But when she was looking through her mother's things, trying to find an outfit to bury her mom in that consisted of more than just a g-string and a bottle of LiquiGlitter, she found an old nurse's uniform. She must not have noticed the velcro holding the thing together, because she started wondering about her mother's past before she got pregnant. "Was my mother once a nurse? Did she have to quit and start working nights so she could get more money and not have to spend any of it on her drinks and ******* habit? If I hadn't come along, might she have helped to save many lives instead of just keeping random johns from having to go looking on the streets? Might she still... be alive?" So she decided, then and there, to graduate high school, go on to nursing college, and become the best nurse that she could possibly be - just like dear old mom might have once been. Besides, she knew from an early age that she was going to end up weighing upwards of 350 pounds as an adult due to her addiction to chocolate, and didn't think she'd be able to walk very well whilst wearing 11" heels.

Oops, wrong forum ;) .
