Sorry, a bit grouchy today feeling stress of dealing with banks (imagine that) and my immediate future. I took a big step today in beginning to network on the recreational side of the cannabis industry. I'm also negotiating a position with a non-cannabis related company more along the lines of what I normally do. So I may be facing a career cross roads in the near future. Shopping for a new house in case I have to move which won't be determined for another week or more. Shopping for car insurance. AND slow ass seed banks that won't even send me stuff to be distracted with. One thing for sure the universe has blessed me well and I feel like a jerk even complaining about it soooooooooooooo

I have a friend who keeps praying for patience. :laughtwo: I can't get her to understand that this is the best way to have life kick you around. Lol!

I've been on site now, posting as fast as the fingers can fly, for over two hours, while the stash sits here next to me, untouched. Let me amend this wrong and dig into this fresh DDA I have on hand. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I just checked the flower teams. Damn, I wish I would have put Lenny in a bigger pot. I've wilted her twice and over watered once. Boy will the wrath of the shadow king be upon me. 🤦 RCP has had a few minor tortures, but not nearly as bad. Everyone else is well, but I did have to spot treat a small mite break out. Been a while. They don't thrive getting zapped with UVC a couple of times a day. Otherwise I'm pleased with the current seed run. Nothing dark yet, but they keep on getting bigger and bigger. :)

and if I try to edit the preview message one more time today I'm gonna freak out man! :rofl::rofl: WTF? It's usually a failure to hit the post button. Strange day for sure as I check my supply of tinfoil.

OMG, you are the best damn company here. It's really a cosmic travesty that we aren't neighbors. :hugs: "..tinfoil" Lol.

I figure the abuse my plants take from my occasional....ok, we'll call it that :laughtwo: ... neglect may stunt yeild, but it also increases potency because, once again, they feel like their lives are threatened. :battingeyelashes: Seems kinda cruel to let it happen, but good grief, do I get high!

Doors and windows are open and something fairly big ran by the study door with my puppy pack hot on it's tail. :rofl:

Strange day indeed and enough tin foil for hat thankfully. Should probably see what's cookin' in the cosmos. Just can't shake the weird vibe today.

Stress is a great tool for increasing potency and changing terp profiles :) I did it so much in my younger days unintentionally that I'm pretty dang good at it now a days. Sometimes intentionally. :)

I'm thinking there might be - must be a pattern of neglect and abuse that could be followed to create particular terpene expressions. It's not as far-fetched as it sounds, and it wouldn't surprise me to find out it's already being used in the professional field.

There are several patterns. Small pot and root binding are something I see professional breeders commenting on from time to time. They go small pot because a small plant is easier to manage for seeding. Then they begin to notice the difference lol.
The problem is there are so many potential combinations of stresses and strains someone would have to map it.. and I think someone is. Could have sworn I was reading something on it the other day. But then my tinfoil might be to tight. Could be wrong.

Wow! Made my heart skip a beat. :laughtwo: :Love: It's been decades.

There's so much wrong in my being able to utter those words, isn't there? What a crazy, mixed-up world we live in.

It's being able to get very particular terpenes to express that fascinates me, but there's also the idea that controlled timing of particular types of stress would produce a flood of groups of terpenes in response. So many different rabbit holes to fall down. :rofl:
 
On the topic of stress. Here's a prime example. American Pie. It's about a week premature so maybe not prime, but it's nothing like the stuff I do a better job with and it doesn't get pushed much further. As soon as this one showed a touch of amber it was chopped.
This was the one in the small pot that I was rushing through not long ago. I threw all kinds of stress at this one intentionally needing space lol. I know, funny way to go about it, but fast pacing a plant like that changes everything and I have stash from a few batches so variety is nice.
At any rate I wilted it twice. Just enough to knock off a few fans on recovery. Then pushed the soil to capacity for a good two weeks at the end. The whole time she was fed very little nutes and run under a dominantly red spectrum. Doesn't even look like the same weed and WOW does it reek :whoa: It's almost a tweaky version of Avalanche too. Very intense.

I'm still a bit baffled as to what the hell ran through the house yesterday lol. :passitleft: Maybe raccoon, but doubtful in the middle of the day. To big to be a cat. :hmmm: To fast to be a porcupine. Wouldn't know if a skunk blew through. :laughtwo: Coyote or fox maybe.
