Gyftobill Second Grow - 600W HPS - Soil - 3 Autos - 2 Photos

I placed an order last Thursday for soil and an 100% organic spray for pest control. I don't have any serious problems i think. i just found 2 night butterflies hanging on my girls leaves, and something tiny and black like a spider crawling on tent s floor.

The grow shop guy told me i can use it as preventive against insects and as stimulant for plants defenses against insects.

when i have it i will post pic

Probably i will try mt first transplant of cannabis too during this week.

Bad news. Either the ballast is broken or the hps bulb.

When lights went on a couple of hours before, i went as usual to check on them. Lamp normally when goes on starts with a white color for a few seconds and then turns yellow. This time it stayed white for about half a min and when it was about to turn yellow suddenly went off.

I tried a few times and it does the same thing.

It was ok this morning before i go to work.

Now i have the plants outside the tent under the room's light that is just a 40w or 50w cfl.....

The grow shop is closed for today and its from an other city. There is no grow shop with that kind of stuff in my city.

So i don't know what will happen, all i can do for now is wait till tomorrow morning to speak with the grow shop...

I checked my bulbs stats and it says 25,000 hours of life. Both ballast and bulb are new , bought them less than 6 months ago, so they have to fix it or replace it free of charge.

My friend will bring me his old but working 400w hps tonight or tomorrow morning to check if it works(My ballast is digital and has 4 options on watts, 250w-400w-600w and supercharge 660w).

PROBLEM SOLVED.

I went to the nearest grow shop and bought a new lamp. It turns out it was broken or something.

They stayed 20 hours with a 50w cfl (for all of them).... but now everything is ok.

I was planning to water them today and transplant the photos to their second and last home but i will give them one more day.

Plants don't seem to have bothered at all from the sudden reduce of light for a day.

Also now i have a brand new lamp that will probably produce more lumens.:cheertwo:
