Humidity is one thing I have never tried to control. I never have to much so it isn't a huge problem. I know my plants have did so much better since I switched to tents. This raised the RH around the plants and they started do lots better. When I set up again in the future it is one of the things I want to try and dial in.
Now on too CO2. It kind of goes with what you are doing. It can help produce tons of buds with a hydro set up. I have always thought about adding it but when I discussed it with my mentor I decided against it. From what he told me.
Growth rates improve to the point that when problems show up they hit hard and fast. The CO2 raises the whole metabolism of the plant When growth rates increase to that rate problems do to. With a hydro system you can adjust stuff lots faster. With soil it could be a problem so I have never considered it.

Whoah dude, that's crazy lmfao... I'm guessing that you can vary your water level so it's not so explosive? I have to say that I've never seen anything like that before. How does it work, vapour etc?

Great advice there too buddy. I'm digging that contraption of @Archiweedies though.
From what KCCO77 tells me....unless I'm running a closed system, ie no carbon filter, no AC, no real place for the CO2 to escape, it would be WICKED in my space. The minute you start to run into issues, is when temps creep up, along with high RH (due to lack of air exchange), that's when issues arrive. Not into issues yet, maybe in the future when I'm searching for a challenge lol.

So another crash in veg last night. After res change, I can go 2 days of adjusting PH to dial it back into 5.7-5.9 range, which is where I dial it into. Hence the NEED for the Bluelab Guardians. For 3-4 days, my res sits happily around that zone. Then 6-7 says after my change, this happens. I can bring it back into the "zone" using PH up, but my query is to why it crashes? Same thing happened last week. I'm gonna res change again tonight, thatll be 8 days, but I dont want PH crash and I certainly dont want PH crash to dictate when it's time for a res change.
The girls are still chugging along, no visible issues.

My answer to everything. Grow in soil LMAO. I just dropped by to be a smartass and to give you a look at the Alpha Dawg from seed swap 2018. It is doing great and looks just like a Chemdawg I am growing. Can't wait for this one.

Hey Guy!
So that was just a quick test so did to show the ‘fog’ it’s a dry vapour like the smoke on stage at concerts yeah? That way it doesn’t mess with HPS lights and other electronics.
The best part is you can pick the reservoir you want to use. I used a 27 gallon tote and when you put the lid on it doesn’t splash.
The lid has three holes in it I drilled out. One for a PC fan, the other two for the dog to come out.
My humidifier is plugged into a humidistat to keep RH where I want it. So when RH dips below my setting it turns on the ultrasonic discs and the pc fan blows out what it’s making into the tent.

The more you describe the way it works, the more I really dig this setup. I'll definitely be checking that out online tonight. It sounds kind of like a swamp cooler idea, just using a bigger tote ......
Yeah it’s similar to the design, you’ve got the idea. I would recommend the pc fan that he lists as water proof cause it does get wet.

From what I understand, using a couple of teaspoons per liter of Epsom salts can help with Calcium deficiency when you don't want all of your plants to end up getting too much by adjusting for only one. At this stage of the grow, lockout would be bad so I'm starting a foliar treatment on her because she is the only one. She's the mom from last round that gave me the super purple buds. Too calcium rich to blend effortlessly in to my CBDurban regiment, so I'm flowering her and that ne that lol.
Gotta make some room for the Pakistan valley indica and Genius here sooner or later lol.
Speaking of genetics, I was in the local town north of us today where it's ultimately a Native Reserve. In such native reserves, it's a bit like the wild west as far as marijuana dispensaries are concerned. Everybody in there seem to be walking around with a little bag that they just purchased except for one guy who had a mason jar under his arm. Naturally I approached him, and calmly ask why, and if he was selling weed at the dispensary. He told me that he was actually there to have his CBD strains that he was working on tested, as he had been doing extensive back Crossing to try and get his genetics as high as possible in the CBD side. Last round, he tested at just over 19% compared to just 1% THC or less. After a 10-minute conversation or so I met him in the parking lot and he offered me some of his seeds to grow out and ultimately have tested to see what kind of numbers I could get, but also so that he could get some more input from another grower.
Once I speak to him later tonight, I'll get specifics on where the seeds came from, as well as as strains.

That's cool that you met a CBD guy. Sounds like a interesting strain for the CBD crowd. I am back to trying to find a good source for CBD oil for vaping. I vap a light nicotine oil and like to add a little CBD to it. That way I am always bring in a little. As of now I just don't have the situation to grow plants just for CBD oil. When I do I have decided a high CBD low THC plant would be best. I don't need to take in more THC I do fine on my own there LMAO.
