Guy Does BC Bud Depot Purps & CBDurban

Scrog is looking good Guy. I have thought about something like that....might have to tinker with it again.
Easy enough. Did the 5 corner pcs first, checked several times for "flatness" and soldered away. Stretched my premade 6" netting afterward.

Well I have been working on the logo and the packaging options....but that all has kind of taken a bit of a turn with my cousin's brain tumor. Focusing on getting him the meds he needs for that and restocking the coffers in case we need to make more meds in another 2 months or so.

I will pick up with the packaging and logo here in a couple weeks. I have a few things in mind. I really want to provide different options. Seems like most breeders only want to sell packs of 10 or 12. I would like to have a few options....maybe packs of 4 on the regs for people that don't necessarily want to buy 10 or 12. For fems maybe have options of 2 packs, 5 packs, and 10 pack.

Good morning mr.Stank I'd just like to know if your genetics will find their way to South Africa per chance as apart from growing them for meds for my back I'd love to be the first Saffer to grow " Stank Genetics "......lol

Where to start......

Ok let's start with some new beginnings
Gone 7 for 7 with Stanks genetics. Dropped 7 of @Van Stank signature ATFs, they're all looking really nice. Not a soil guy anymore, so I'm just using ProMix seed starting formula for now, til I can get these sexed and take cuttings. Then I'll keep the nicest as my mother in soil (KCCO77s advice), in case I ever have a long term power outage. All cuttings can be either hydro or soil once ready.
Same for my TTBs that @Jackalope sent my way. Not quite the 100% germination rate, so I've supplemented what didn't come up with some TTBs that seem to be a special batch, called v.2011.
Next, my World of seeds Pakistan Valley indica and my Brothers Grimm Genius S1 are going from solos to a single bucket system today, here they are before their new digs.
Lastly.....for now are my girls in flower. Stretch isn't over yet it seems so this scrog net which is mounted 8 inches above my original seems to really make sense. The girls really are looking fantastic, all of my readings are stable on the Blue lab Guardian and yes, so far I agree that the H&G nutrients are kicking ass.

Good morning mr.Guy I'm glad to see you are back up and running, looks to be an amazing lineup once again and even more magic to behold......:snowboating::woohoo:
Awesome to see you too Smeegs, slowly I'm getting my crew back, lol!

Glad to hear they all popped u for you brother! Hoping that they do well for you. Mine is growing out of my tent right now....literally. Tent is 84" tall and the cola is sitting at 81" tall or 3" left for it to grow LOL. I am not going to do anything with it until it touches the top of the tent which should be in two days.....maybe 3

Anybody have any idea why there would be sediment in the bottom of my res? Yesterday I added 200 mls of House and Garden A and B to my red in anticipation of a res change today.....15 minutes apart as/ normal. Now I noticed all the sediment in the bottom of my res so I'm wondering if it's safe or if it should be discarded and or what might have caused this? I do not use a powder form of nutrients, mine are 100% liquid.
@Scrogdawg, @KCCO 77

Trailer Trash Betty has evolved over the years. Every few years the breeder would have to make a new batch of seeds. Original mother and fathers were never kept. The 2011 is the last years he made new seeds. Smell has been the biggest difference over time. There were 4 different seed batches. 1998, 2003, 2009, and 2011. The very first seeds made in 1998 still pop.

So technically the 2011 is a F-4 of the original strain.

Interesting! Do you remember which batch you sent me other than the F4? I have some of the F4s germinating, I can see them starting. Itll be interesting to see/smell the different phenos.

Also finding it interesting that another cutting of the Purps that went Super purple last time and only gave me an oz, is now one of the biggest plants under the Scrog, with no purple showing. I'm guessing since I further regulated my temperatures, less stress = more stability.

So I gotta thank @bluter for liking a pic earlier today showing me what my girls looked like just over 2 weeks ago. Super happy with the Canuk seeds CBDurban, always wicked results with this girl. Also, this round @Jackalope correct me if I'm wrong but these are BC bud depot purps finally getting a chance to show what they can do. Completely different result from last grow where she only resulted in an irresponsible 1 oz....lmao. Super purply grape smelling nastiness that hardly burns. But it's super cool looking lol.
Props to @Van Stank and @KCCO 77 for always preaching environment to me. I owe you guys a lot.

I am pretty sure I sent you the 2003 the first time. The 1998 still pop but are really old. I seldom give them out sooner or later they will stop popping.

Now for the Purps. I have not grow the straight up Purps. Only Purple Betty. The age of the plant might help it produce more being a clone. From what I have found they tend to fill out better. Not going to mean it will produce too much more. It might just be one of those plants that don't produce. Purple strains have the tendency to do that. What you gain in flavor you lose in production LOL.

You are right it is probably temperature keep the clone from turning color. PB has plants that turn color automatically so I know purps will do it. Most plants will do it late or with lower temps though. The pheno you have must be one of those. I am kind of surprised. I thought the plants that started purple always did it. I have always had low nighttime temps on every grow so that could be it.

Another thing on the subject. These are just thoughts and guesses. Purple plants are purple because of a lack of chlorophyll which they need for growth. This lack of chlorophyll is part of the reason they don't produce much. The fact that the clone you are running still has lots of chlorophyll may have something to do with it.

I definitely kept them separate, so it'll be interesting to see how many of the 2003 show up too? So far, one of The Originals popped out of 7. This morning I was in there and saw another two out of there are rapid rooters.

I have to agree, the purps has definitely been one of the most aromatic plants that I have ever grown. Right up there with the Crown Royal. Haven't grown skunk variety or a cheese variety yet, so my experience is limited. My last perps, the temperature affected funky looking one with the deep purple buds, smelled just like grape Bubblicious as it was growing, lol. It's likely the biggest reason that I didn't chop it down, cuz the smell was off the hook!

I too found it very bizarre that the small plant I just discussed, her twin (cloned sister) hasn't grown the exact same as her? Same light, same system, same nutrient schedule . The only thing I did change is the manufacturer of Cal Mag. Went from Botanicare to Remo. Both her color and size for that matter, but....... I have also dialed in my temperatures quite a bit. While I was off doing my thing, I also bought an 80lb pre-charged CO2 tank LMAO. Not sure about that quite yet. Did look at the Titan CO2 regulator though ..... Any thoughts? I need to work on my RH first. Rarely get above 45%.

Does anybody know what type of filtration a window air conditioner provides? For instance there is no paper filter like there isn't a home HVAC system so I'm wondering if I am pulling bugs from outside and directly depositing them on to my plants in the summer time, LOL.
If so, I will have to come up with some sort of an external filter, luckily I'm pretty good at bending metal on a brake..

Re humidity: In SoCal I struggle with low RH. Check out House of Hydro. John, the owner, is super cool and can help steer you towards a sysyem that will work for you. He provides different sized kits depending on your needs and you supply the reservoir. I use a 27 gallon tote and I go at least a week between refills. I use the reject water from my RO system, which makes me feel a little better about using RO.

Hope this helps mate, cheers.

I'll check out the website, thanks for the tip!
My RH is usually in the 35% range sometimes buffing up to 45. I know I need to be in the 55 to 60% range with the temperatures that I am running. I'm generally in the 23 to 25 Celsius range.
