GT's Ongoing Garden of Weeden - Keep It Simple Stupid!

GT, its been a while my friend! Glad to see you active here again:high-five: Haven't had the pleasure of catching up on everyone's journals, but, sadly, I probably never will.

I remember you digging that cave quite a while back, glad to see its being put to good use! At it again witht the diploids huh? Nice....
Good luck witht the grow, I'll be in and out from time to time.

Thanks for checking in on me a while back too, I haven't forgotten:Namaste:

Like mine, your babies are in big enough pots to last them for a minute. Coco coir is both cheapest and best. You have so many great strains coming up, I'm excited. My seedlings are just a couple days older, but only six now. So slow and fragile, seeds are a necessary evil. Cuttings are more robust and faster, and MUCH cheaper :rocker:

I've put my infested grow box under the heat gun, and your germ warfare looks like a great follow-up attack before the final solution, chemical warfare gas. There's two kinds of growers: those with spider mites and those who are going to get them.

Great job in the cave :adore: GT

Oh, I know you'll kill 'em propa! :)

I've been wondering if something like this might work for us...

Cedarcide Insect Control Fogger Fumigation Pest Control Fogging device Instructions

I started seeing these things being used in hotels. I love the fact that it's non toxic...and it will supposedly eradicate bed bugs...including their larvae and eggs...which are slippery little bastards.

wow gt the flood was a shocker im betting, twins again!!! holy flippin rare luck! th bud cave is looking great and what killer cool strains your working with, my gdps are 50 days into veg but wow im impressed with the growth i have not grown a strain thats such a sloid bush with crazy tight node spacing im sexing some clones but the preflowers look like i have 2 boys and a girl but they are small and its hard to tell just yet out of the 3 im pretty sure i have both sexs so you know what that means (bow chicka wow, wow) lol i think your gonna love that strain, at nearly 2 months veg they are less than 2 ft tall and about as wide mass side branching ,i'll do an update soon, just thought id rap on gdp a min since your running them too seems everyone is lately there should be lots of good comparison grows

I feel bad for anybody with working knowledge of bedbugs, but DDT days are old history. That pro-priced fogger has a major fault: everything has to be broken down for access, just like for the more potent toxins. I don't believe that anything that'll kill bedbugs is totally benign to people and cats. Even my 100% pinchy fingers can hurt, so I use caution when I wake up itchy and PISSED. Bellowing rage doesn't help, but finding & popping fat almond-smelling messy blood thieves does. Yes, I'm waay too familiar with Cimex lectularius.
They're likely tiny cousins of my crazy city's Counsellors, but at least I can be violent with these.

I don't want to jack GT's journal...and I've never even used the product, I just thought it was interesting. If memory serves, it's not much more than cedar oil and a mineral, that clogs the pores in an arthropod's exoskeleton, and suffocates it...or something like that anyway...

:Namaste:

At least this thread-jack may be useful, we all deal with bugs. Diatomacious earth cuts into bug exoskeletons and they'll 'bleed' out and dehydrate, but not all of them. Slippery bastards. I'm not yet ready to spend $300 to anoint bedbugs with aromatic oil, but I do have a $12 Harbor Freight heat gun :)

Sorry, on and off quick tonight...Wore the heck out.

25 - 4 yr olds, a bowling alley, a head cold, and no weed to boot!!

Time to go to sleep!!

Peace and God bless you all!

Yikes sounds alittle to crazy for me. I see that word 'mites' again. I like what Propagator said back a page' those about to get them. Bummer but true. Only way to keep them buggers gone is to treat them as infected, even if not for awhile. Hard to kill all them eggs regardless what labels say. Got to rememeber they are trying to sell a product. Once you got them buggers under control a wash every now and then with a weak rise with something like safers insect soap up into even the third week of flower in 'have too'. It's now the best pratice to wet buds afew acouple weeks of flower, but you have to do what you must to save your crops. Afew burnt leaves is worth saving the buddage. They have some systemic products that hang around up to 28 days in your plants fighting off pests. As long as you use these types up to the first week or two of flower, they will dissappate by harvest.
Twins again. Damn I haven't had my first set yet. Hey I do have a werdo growing. It's like a trilaterial brancher, onley with 4 branches. I guess a Quadlaterial. They grow out of this pretty early, but she had 3 or 4 sets of leafs doing this on that tope so I topped it. I''m hoping to see a branch from each node. Man she'll be a leaning heavy to one side if it takes.
Hey I see a ID up top there I haven't seen in ages. Well hopefully you'll save both babies. and that SLH. She don't look to happy. Who am I to talk, I fried some more seeds 'Again' this week. Looks like you got some nice strains popping up for ya. I really need to catch up abit, you know me I like pictures. Never learned to read myself. Rep's at ya+++ and Keepem Green
