Growing A Legend: An Auto Tribute To Jack Herer

Someone was talking about Mantises so I had to go dig this up...

Here's another small change to the system my JHa will be growing in.

Made a little improvement this evening in my growroom. Took some insulated separators that I got from some boxes of vaccine (same place I got the insulation from my growroom floor) and got my little girlies a it farther up, closer to even lighting all round again. I'm going to move that small shelf on the right - it ha its uses in its pre-perp days, but now I need the space that it's taking up. That may be the next thing I do in there, but the space is ready for the grow and that's what matters.

I forgot to mention in all the activity here yesterday, but I picked up a 5-pack of CKS Northern Lights autos when I was in town. My auto seeds were almost all gone, just the two JHa's, and I went into the store after some Amnesia Haze autos. When I saw them in the display case the NLa's caught my attention so I decided on them instead, WTF, right?

Yeah, here's the stand for the starters

And I mentioned a while back about plans for an outdoor mid-stage pot. It's just the other end of my air pots. I'll put a detachable bottom on it, easy enough, and transplant seedlings into there from a starter pot or just use a peat pellet right in there. From there I'd detach the bottom, just a cap of some sort, and bury it half a foot into a final pot. The notches that are in the bottom are from the aquaculture days and will allow the roots a little more freedom moving into the new home. Thoughts?

Anyways, I'm gonna have my last spliff here, put on some YouTube and probably lurk back and forth here for awhile. Just wanted to show off my setup. Watch out Yanks, you're in for it now... especially the one with the big mouth due south of me.

Sorry boys, being kind of absent today. Got another 6 inches of fresh powder throughout the day...... took a step in the right direction though and happened across a snowblower. I know, how do you go 45 years in Canada without one LMAO.

Eager to drop this bean, that's for sure!

Fly, which pot are you doing the JHa in, one that we can see if depth effect autos taproots?

Yeah, I have an air pot all ready for when I get up tomorrow. But I don't see a whole lot of root in the other ones like it.

Anyone ever use ladybugs? They showed up by the thousand at my local grow store recently...I don't need em, but they are cute!
Van used them . Predator ladybugs lol......cute eh? Do yourself a favor and do not look at their face under a microscope LOL.

I don't think I would introduce any bugs to my shop if I didn't have to. Separation is hard enough between the yard and grow space...last year my hops got hit with serious aphids. I managed to not have any make it in my shop, even though the shop is on the other side of the yard. Unfortunately, in my battle with the aphids I severely crippled the hop production...but my weed stayed safe:)

I used predator mites last grow for the flower phase. I wasn't going to spray at all during flower so I used just root drenches and predator mites in flower.
