You wanna know something? I've found sativa and indica leaf phenos already with them, but the one I have flowering now has sativa leaves. My mouth is watering too.

I can't imagine it being 9 weeks from germination. CKS ones have a stated 9 week flowering time. The yield looks more realistic though; CKS claims 250g. I'm not going to get anywhere near an ounce myself, I don't think. We'll see in a couple months though, won't we? I saw that about the germination and thought, Wicked..... So much for the Yankees having nice big plants LMAO.

It is all in the wording...I have seen CKS auto descriptions saying "in only 9 weeks you'll have..." and they never give a clear timeline. It happens industrywide. I ran Northern Light Autos from CKS for 110 days...but in sunlight from April-June. Currently I am running Lowryder 2 and Northern Light x Big Bud from Seedsman BUT under 200W COB LEDs for 20/4...big difference. They could be harvested today (@ 9 weeks) and I would likely get an oz or more. I plan to run them another 2-3 weeks providing everything looks good (or until my JH bushes out into a Canadian-spirit-crushing monster!) :clap:

I never thought of the collective vote part, but as for the progress photos, that's a definite. Maybe for the visual vote we should draft some third-party non-competitors for that. There'll be a lot of ideas coming up on the fly I suspect. Guy and myself are putting plans together for a quality test that should get put to a vote very soon.

Third party is cool but if you have an awesome looking plant I am going to say HELL YEAH!

I don't know what to say about that one. I'm expecting to have the smallest one anyway. Pessimists are never disappointed.

Nice.....but bright side for this one buddy! Nothing to do with size. QUALITY is key with these players........on our side of the line anyway lmao!

Maybe I'll bring home some live babies and bury them. Those yolk sacs are all full of nutes. Just kidding; I don't have the heart to do that.

Autos are unique that the clock is constantly ticking and you need to dance to keep up. Size can definitely be influenced and so can the amount/quality of buds....

(but first things first...I need to pop this bean before I start yapping!)
 
I want to change the subject here for a post or two guys. I haven't been visiting too many threads the past month; the short days of winter have me a little down and I tend to withdraw into myself. I just want to thank everyone for their patience and kindness for coming to visit me here and on my own threads. You're all top-of-the-line friends, even the Yanks hah.

When I go see the mental health counselor on Monday you'll all be getting a collective honorable mention.

Nice. I think when i get home from paying bills a plant is getting cut and nuke dried to bring me out of this funk.
 
I know of people that are affected by SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) due to short days...I think insurance should cover grow lights used to counteract this condition! I love going up in the middle of a grey, often snowy, winter and opening the Box to see green growing cannabis. Especially now when they are budding, and I come back into the house and my 8-year sniffs, looks around the room, and says "I smell skunk".

Skunk indeed, young one, skunk indeed...

I understand the feeling Fly:) Feelings and frustrations and good days and bad days are kinda like the different ripples in the river. Sometimes there's a storm upstream, sometimes we have drought...sometimes the water is perfect and the fish are jumping...but it's good to always be thankful we have the river. I watch the waves pass and hang on for the next set. Lol.

Maybe only nuke half that bitch:)

Here is a suggestion to all the players in the JH tribute grow. One part of the judging should be the fellow growers. Everyone must rate the other grows from pictures and info provided. They can not vote on their own grow. Yes there still might be some US/Can preference. If all are honest it should give you 1 basis on judging.
