Growchy's Purple Series - Purpletually Purple

LOL....instead of thinning it out couldn't you just reduce how much you take? See thats what I would like. I generally dose between half a teaspoon and a teaspoon.....but I would love to have oil potent enough that I only need to take a 1/4 teaspoon and be set.

I am curious as to what his ratio was that got PW saying "uh oh, too strong" LOL.

Something cool to look at after Mrs G’s top job on the GK
Thought it was pretty cool

That is kinda cool looking with the nodes swelling like that and the new branching starting.

Looks like the Mrs.'s has a steady hand and good eyes to nip her that close. Don't make her mad. ;)

Lol she does have an eye for this. She did the first ever topping in our first Grow journal and loves to defoliate as well. She's got the reigns on the GK let's see what she can do!

I used coconut oil for canna caps, not sure what the ratio was

Each cap was 1ml of oil but not sure how much thc was in each cap. We kinda just winged it (not wanged it ;) & it worked really well for me. We made rso out of trim, homogenized it with coconut oil and lecithin (to coagulate) then dropped a ml in each cap.

Trimming really is an art form, I just don’t have the patients. .

I used to enjoy trimming, and then the novelty wore off. I helped a few friends with some decent out door harvests and that ruined it for me :laughtwo: I helped one buddy trim 3.5 pounds in the matter of a week or so. What a pain in the ass that was! It was just trimming day and night to get through it all. Bud rot was starting to ramp up so it was time to pull it all or lose it.

I hear that PW, we do a rough trim usually, but I'll spend the time to get a few of the nicer buds trimmed up super tight for pictures if I feel they are quality enough to enter notm. I hate the taste of freshly mowed buds lol gotta have a good cure and flush! I can see how the novelty wore off yeti, that's a lot of hard work. See they would've benefitted from a legit trimming machine that's a lot to do all at once.

Yeah it was loads. 1 to 3 good sized plants a day. We had not really heard of trimming machines at the time. I have used bowl trimmers since and did not think they sped things up any and I did not care for how they trimmed or how many trichs got displaced during the trim. I have decided since to only hand trim. I do not think I will be helping much with out door trim sessions any more. I am too busy trimming my own every couple of weeks :laughtwo:

Its hard to keep up defoiling with so many plants.. they just don't quit friggen growin lol. Not complaining though. . Some crazy roots on her mrs g.. still surprises me how a smaller plant like that can have such crazy roots. No wonder why they get rootbound so quickly in hard pots. Trimming is still fun for me when i harvest a smaller plant.. my ocd takes me forever to trim up a bigger plant so thats not so fun. Wish i could go at it and get it done but im wayyy too meticulous. Will take me a full length album to trim a large cola the way i want. ...
