Put her in with my mystery strain. I need to find something to bring my seed up to the light. Also make a little humidity dome. .

Good little swick idea. .good use of space!

That looks like a math problem. Must be the kind of smoke that leaves you feeling slightly confused and tired

Not at all. :battingeyelashes:  More like clear-headed, smiling and alert.

The Sour Hound made an appearance yesterday morning and is about 36 hours above soil now. The Trans Siberian is still being shy but will hopefully pop up soon. I went ahead and dropped an unbranded freebie bean just labeled Auto Kush in some RO to soak overnight just in case. It came with a Seedsman order, probably their auto kush. So, I may end up with three to experiment with... I at least have one dog in the fight for sure though!

Here is their environment for now.
420-magazine-mobile2087466827.jpg

A little veg/clone box I built under a little 20x20x20 Ikea table. Put one of those thin led 45w square panels under it, the $20 kind from the zon. Its just blue and white led, so I have the little 10w red/blue clip light on the back right there to help clones and seedlings root.

For seeds, when they first pop up I keep them under the reds for a day or two, and clones go under right away for a day or 2. The red lights are flexible so I can move them around to cover more or move them out of the way of I'm not using them.

I have them up on inverted, cut-to-height Styrofoam cups to keep them close to the light so they don't stretch too much. Just cut a little more styrofoam off as they grow so they don't get too close. The plan is to keep them in here as long as I can then throw them in the flower tent when they are either too tall or start flowering.

This is already one of my favorite threads. So much clever diy stuff

Allright. Both Jacks are up. re-decorated the tent and gave the Jacks the spotlight so to speak.

I sure did. Watered it thoroughly, planted, plastic wrapped, on the heat pad. Here she is today

it's hard to get a proper pic with all the lights goin. But as you can all see it's clearly gonna yield at least 3 pounds. .

How far away do you think I should keep my 600 w light after she sprouts. I also have a reflective dome with 200 w light to get her started it that seems like a better idea

Since both of them is up and I already noticed a tiny little bit of stretching, I made sure to get them more in the spotlight. They should be close enough to the lamp now. Almost reaching the canopy of the photos sharing the space with them. They are looking quite ridiculous compared to the others. And the others are in 1 liter pots, so they're not really big either.

Here's what else is going on in my vegg tent (Homebox Evolution 80x80x160cm)

We have a total of 20 plants vegging in there. They're sorted by strain and by how developed they are. The ones furthest back are the oldest and the closest ones are the freshest clones. I have been performing a whole bunch of cloning experiments to perfect my cloning methods. Will use some of these plants for further experimentation, some will be trained to be mothers and others will be flowered as soon as there is room in one of the two flowering spaces.

We have the following strains in there:

From behind:

- Big-Bud
- Pure Power Plant
- White Widow
- Bubbleicious

and then on the left and in the centre

- Jack Herer (Auto)

And that's how things are

How are you folks doing?

I started under my 150w hps. About three feet away. It was too far, she stretched. She's about 2 feet away now and I could probably go closer. I also have "300w" led panels on either side of the hps. I don't put seedlings under my 600w hps but I'm sure there is a way. I'd dial back to 200 if it was me but I'm no pro.

Looking great everyone, good to see success for nearly every grower!

My babies are doing well, as for the one cotyledon Malana, I think it lost its entire centre with the other round leaf.. so, if it lives, we can call that an early top . will be an interesting plant if I can keep her alive.

I'm not sure if this has already been mentioned. Go over to the " let's see some eye candy " thread and look at Cola monster's solo cup grow. That dude is a professional. He shurly has talent. Anyway I thought it might give you guys some inspiration

Arent those strictly for hydro?

Was my understanding as well yeah.. and the bottle says for hydroponic use only.. When down at the Hydro shop a mentioned wishing they could be used in soil, and the helpful clerk gave me the Cyco product list and feed schedules for coco / soil / aqua which led me to those A&B products.

Still a little skeptical.. but going to follow the feed chart and see how it goes..
