One more thing, I only see the lights when I turn them off in the morning. They come on at 9pm on their own. I care more about wall watts being less than I'm drawing now and lumens being more than I'm currently getting.

The one thing I can say is that our LEDs are working very well for our 4x4 space and with it on full spectrum there isn’t that weird color in there. They are also easy on the pocketbook and aren’t hot. I love my LEDs.
Depends on how cheapo. The one I got originally is 75 bucks. And runs at 125 watts from the wall
But when the sun isn't shining, would a cheap LED be better than the T5s and CLFs in that 2x4 space - that's the question!
That's what the led will offer for you. All the light directed into 90° focus instead of 360° of the fluorescents. A better efficiency and efficacy. The lumens aren't quite as important. Often we used ppfd ppf and par in place of lumens and luminous flux (lux). One more thing, I only see the lights when I turn them off in the morning. They come on at 9pm on their own. Hope this helps a little

It's no sunshine... but a step up from florescent lighting imo!Def helps but I think you just missed my post where I bought the Mars 300. You must have missed it or you would have led () with congratulations!

You have me interested with the LED now. Who knows, I may try to get my hands on one next year.

What brand and size LEDs are you using Happy? What do they draw from the wall? Are you finding that each one completely covers two plants? You are are running more wattage than I would but I am curious what just one of them might do. And how much they cost of course.
Sorry I missed your journal! You are growing the same Blueberry that Moonshine and I are. I'll sub in there and catch up on it tomorrow.
Thanks!
