CHOP DAY, Any guesses?

Hi Mayne, it looks early for a chop to me. Wondering why you decided to chop :thedoubletake:
Or are you asking when you think it's ready?

Hey Snarly and Philsthetent,

Well, I am choppin today. Im done with DWC, smh, what a nightmare. Between res temps at a steady 73, and and humidity in my basement, i have alot of things to get right. Going to make build a room to put my tent in,.. Going Coco from here on out. Easier to maintain lower temp out of light and heat then the buckets. The DWC is just a major pain in the ass, let alone in a 2x2 tent, takes up valuable room. Rebuilding light rig with 4 cobs and my Mars300 modded lenses. Might build a 4x4 room. If i go that route, going to get 8 Cobs, probably the 50w driverless smart Cobs. Plan is to go Perpetual, 5 plants one in, 1 out, 12/12 from seed type cycle. 2 week veg under CLFs, then into the tent to finish. take 20grams every 2 weeks, be happy with that. Really want 2 Dwarf stars, so saving up for those at the moment. 2 of those in a 4x4, ;) Was the plan from the start, but this DWC nickel dimin a brotha.

Just alot of frustration mans, Im sure you know, lol.. Went to check ph and sht this morning, ph was 7.2. Tomorrow is res change day. Had enough of that sht. Feel like im smugglin moonshine with 3 cases of water every dam Saturday morning.lol..

But folks, fruits looks fantastic, I still will follow, awesome thread.

Totally understood Mayne. I'm sticking with Pro-Mix HP, which suits my needs and abilities. I am interested in other grow methods, and may try some in the future. For now, I'm more than satisfied and quite happy to continue with what works for me :)

Yah mayne simplify is my motto - I'm interested in DWC but like you I think it looks like a bitch .....glad your not gonna let it stop you and learn from all of that experience !

Right on fellas, Good news, I have 17 nice clones if I wanted, lol.. I even have the other growing, she took an asswhoppin to, feel bad for her, lol.. But since I transplanted her from the small container of kindsoil into DWC, the roots never really picked up to well, add the res temps, ugg,,.. If she could talk, like the Sausage party movie, lol, " OHHHHH NOOOOO, HERE HE COMES< AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

lol,,,,,,,,,

Considering the bad conditions, the wider plant looks great, but I know tomorrow, and the next day, its just not worth it. still probably 70 days left before harvest, thats 20 more res changes, 420 frozen bottles, to cool res, and stress, Nahh.

Getting BOGs BoggleGum seeds this week, says 45-50 days to finish, just to get some smoke crankin out. Last street bag i got had about 50 seeds and the stuff looks like it was dried in a field under a tarp, but dang, same effects as BlueDream, so I have assload of these seeds. But i need something with a fast turnover.

already have a seedling at 3 days from seed poppin, waiting for the Coco later today. Its the same strain as the chick in the kindsoil/dwc that im getting ready to remove. I think its a tangie strain to be honest. Definitely something with Lemon.

ok, catch up wit you fellas later, and thanks for the input.

Yah base - doesn't look too bad to me either - a lot of that yellowing is the plant cannibalizing itself to feed the flowers - and I agree with snarley that humidity 74min/max 76 is a worry to me - it can effect the way the plant absorbs the nutes just as much as PH.
If the humidity is high they don't feel thirsty so the nutes just sit there in the pot if that makes any sense ? Plus the chances for mold/ bud rot / powdery mildew are increased .
My humidity got crazy like that for a few weeks and I finally broke down and got a dehumidifier - used i found it on CL for $40 - works great and I can tell the difference in the plants this round already .
I just put a new battery in that thing last night so we'll see what it says when i get home. Also, we had been having nice weather and the humidity in my unfinished basement was dropping like 5% a week. I know seedlings need around 75... a late stage flower needs more like 40. It was down to low 60s and then it started raining again and it shot back up. I thought the timing was going to be perfect, but we get a ton of rain in late June!

Hey there, I am trying some white widow autos from cks and and wondering if anybody knows how long from seed they go? Here they are today June 16. They sprouted on April 17 and started showing pistils on day 21. Finished stretch around day 35. The package says 8 week flower

Hey hoot~ I had read somewhere to count the first day of flower when the first pistils show~ but I have zero experience with autos~ if I were you, I'd check the auto community thread~ I'll bet you'll find your answer there. Good luck! She looks great!

Thanks vesp. I am ove there now.

So, its with great sadness that i post this picture. . Took this tonight just after the light kicked off. The low pH really has done a number on her. Im kicking myself for not checking my pH pen with a buffer solution sooner, i couldnt even calibrate it to show the the true pH, it was that messed up. New pen is here so if you ever wanted to see if you could bring one back from the brink of death please stay tuned. I started out this plant with a 20 oz goal... if I get 5 I'd consider myself lucky. .

Yeah and the budsites on either side are weedman's hands. Not quite sure what to make of that expression...

Here is my grafted one at five weeks. No morphing or blending to be seen. Each strain is acting, looking and smelling just as it would if it was a regular plant- with the exception of the feeding level being higher.

Malawi is closest- with the numerous small buds. Panama upper left and Mama Thai upper right -with slightly yellower and floppier leaves.
