GrizzWalds - Aussie Indoor/Outdoor - Choose Your Own Adventure

Beautiful photos! You are lucky to live in such beautiful surroundings!

I am Hoz... I take it for granted, but every now and then it hits me, "look around here, this is paradise"....

Ajagunle, man :):):):):) I see you mate.... Fantastic... Thought about you mate, missed you..

The only other place I have ever wanted to live in my whole life was Australia... Even checked it out with all the info in books and such I could find... it is absolutely beautiful and it has kangaroos and koala bears... what more could anyone ask for..... and if I haven't told ya lately Grizz Love ya Mean it....:circle-of-love:

Back at you Dennise... And mean it....

Actually didn't see and wallabies or kangaroos yesterday. Koalas are everywhere here. Becoming extinct everywhere, plague proportions here, they move them away, I've heard of a cull to but don't know if that was a political throwaway...I forgot to take some pics..

Mate, weirdo's down here.. Koala bears eat manna gum, strip them, till they are dead looking ghost trees.. They bring officials down and show the "damage" they are doing to the environment, how dangerous it is to have these dead trees around... This is coming from both sides, just different ideas on how to fix it... The koalas leave these areas and move to the next untouched area and do the same... The manna trees grow back and within year or two, have full growth back... its bizarre though, as nobody else notices this, yet it's so obvious.. I've actually had to take friends to areas to show it but they still argue that they do to much damage.. Because it's so lush down here, thick bush forest, and the manna gums are more scrub land, then once they are stripped and grey stumps, it's like the locals/officials, look at that land like they damaging it. Eye sore for eight months is only thing I can come up with...

I've long since come to the conclusion that the world is populated by stupid people. Except the people on this forum of course! LOL

So true isn't it Hoz.... I think getting crazier... Individuals are good, you can have a conversation.. I think it's media, people put an importance and as if there point of view is authoritative...
Critical amnesia has been finishing fast this last week, nearly all pistil have changed colour and withered in to the buds. Trichs still 80 cloudy 20 clear, that was few days ago check. Looks like black dream and bigger gal will finish same time...

I love it Hoz!
Glad you liked it! :cheesygrinsmiley:

I was serious about thinking of this tune at times during the evening news, political speeches, and even more so the "rebuttals" :thedoubletake:

I'm kind of in awe of the power of the media. I see Hurst as the large scale pioneer. He really wielded the power in incredible ground breaking ways... ways I'm mostly not a fan of.... but incredible none the less.

"Incredible"... Let's break that down shall we?

Credible (as in "A credible witness") means: able to be believed; convincing. Capable of persuading people that something will happen or be successful.

When "Un", "In" or "Im" is in front of a word, it means "Not"

So "IN-credible" actually means "Not to be believed", or "Not convincing".

No point here. I just think it's a funny word that gets misused a lot. Like "Bad" and "Bad-ass" in the 80's and 90's

It is a confusing word... I must agree. Your observation would be spot on... until you check with Webster and notice that one of it's official definitions is actually "difficult to believe; extraordinary".
Languages that apply multiple definitions to individual words are a significant challenge.

Incredible... isn't it?

Language is forever evolving.. Depending on your social circles will usually depend the use of certain words, or mostly, the obsoletism of majority of words..When I was 14, talking with gran, she said the lady down the road was a wicked lady. Oh cool, at least your got somebody cool you can hang with nan.... No, that wasn't what she meant, lol...

Webster, oh, Webster! ...you were the last word on everything!

He must have been a real pain in the ass to be around. I hate know it alls.
