GrizzWalds - Aussie Indoor/Outdoor - Choose Your Own Adventure

oh Heirloom, now you've brought some of my best memories back at the SD Wild Animal Park! I remember chasing my beautiful 4 year old daughter all over that park, and watching her amazement at seeing all of the animals! Now she has 3 awesome daughters! It goes by way too fast! Every minute I get to spend with them is SPECIAL! They mesmerizer me.

Grizz, those waterfalls, those ferns!!!! That looks like heaven!! The tall trees...what an enchanted forest! So glad you got to spend special time with your daughter. The bond between a girl and her father is extremely special. A girl looks to her father to see what a "man" should be like, and that's who she will look for in her mate. If you give her a lot of attention and love, she will look for that....

Blaze,
Congratulations!!!! Being a daddy is a BIG Honor, and a BIG job. Knowing you didn't have yours around, tells me that you are going to do everything to be around and be a good dad! I "broke the cycle" from my upbringing, you will do a great job breaking it!!!

Thank you for the vote of confidence Pinky! I'm going to give it my all.

Blaze, I'm a little blazed, sorry, misinterpreted your comment... Awesome about bub coming man.. Have you wrapt around your finger from day dot..Hope mrs is doing well... Sorry about your 'dad' man. It is what it is, I guess, sucks from my view point... hopefully your got your own set that you live by. It'll make you a better dad, giving what you missed out on...
Heirloom, ah the zoo... Took her last year. Haha, I thought she was the only one that fell asleep straight away. I think we saw lions, then she wanted to be picked up, all of a sudden I felt dibble on my neck.. Woke her up for lunch, saw elephants and was asleep again.. Oh, but once we got home and I had a couple and sat on the couch, guess who's up wanting to play shop keepers, lol..
Pinky, it is a beautiful part of the world, especially when you think thats on the beach shore line in places.... Although where the photos are taken, I'm about 20 minutes up in the mountain from the coastline..

Love the waterfall pics Grizz. That's one of the things the wife and I like to do for getaways. I'm not a religious man, but to experience nature's beauty like that makes me wonder if there is a higher power/creator. Hope I'm not starting some big theological debate, that's not my intent.

Yeah man, I know what you mean...Mother Nature, she's awesome..... Chicken or the egg... I like the idea of my gods right and your gods wrong and how dare you worship your God and believe what you do, you should believe what I do, because I'm right and your wrong  religion no, something higher, without a doubt. Whether I comprehend that or not, who knows, I'm just accepting that other shits going on, don't know what, and if it's faith, well my faith is in that something higher is going on and I just don't know what that is, lol....

Wassup grizz, glad to see your daughter is learning some magic. Magic is real. I just smoked some lol. I am pretty good at making weed disappear :tokin:. That waterfall looks like another great place to smoke a doobie, and take a bath . Sorry man I'm waked and I'm baked on this sunny saturday morning. SourD

Thought I might see you there, walking outta the fog, lol.... I know magic is real man, I saw a bloody rabbit in a jumper, that's gotta be second year Hagworts man... Sour d, waked baked, goodbye day with a smile on the face, lol. Jealous.. og got mine, beautiful...

Hey jaga :passitleft: hope your well mate...

That sounds magical! I just got 14 inches of snow! No complaints, I love it all!

I'd love to freeze this age bracket for her life, lol.... It's so good being a hero to somebody that knows it all, lol... I've tried never to not accept a cuddle, try to drop whatever I'm doing, cause I know it's not going to last to much longer, starts school next year...

I worried about school too. But I think you'll be ok Grizz. They don't change personalities. Mine is almost 13 now. He's still a total sweetheart. Tells me he loves me nearly every day, and every once in a while will wander up and give me a hug and a kiss on the cheek. He's been a lovely kid his whole life through, and year after year I've been somehow expecting him to turn on me somehow. From my dad I got heavy beatings and mental abuse mainly, so I guess it's a family cycle broken. Can't blame my dad when I see what he had on his plate. The number one challenge of my single parenting life is not to get grumpy with the stress and workload and I work hard to never break the trust.
I don't know the answers- this is my only kid- but I think- spend lots of time with them and just treat them with respect, like people the whole way through and they'll turn out great.
It is very sad to see that magical state of wonder and constant happiness start to decline though, as they take on the weight of the world. You're right. It would be nice to freeze that age forever.

Sounds good pinky. Snow fire cones mmmm

Should I have gone to bed earlier?????

Weasel, he sounds like an abosolute sweetheart mate, must make you so proud.. That's great... I'm going to rep you for being a good dad... I think its if you can respect them and what they have to offer, not be a prison guard, then you don't have to wait till they are older to have a respectful relationship, it can be all the way through... now I've got a daughter, so I'm not ready for whatever is going to happen, lol.....
Dennise.... :circle-of-love: thank you :circle-of-love:

That's it. Just remember the shit that your parents put you through that you knew was unfair, and then just don't do that, lol. The way some people treat their kids, like little aliens, is stupid- it just sets it up to make everything ten times as difficult down the line. So unnecessary. Treat them with respect as a fellow person, and you'll get treated like one too. ( I hope...! So far so good )
But yeah, a girl... Enjoy it now!

Aye, mine is almost 11 and still likes a story and tucked in by her Dad at bedtime :)

if you love your children and show them that love, your going to receive it back, as that's all they have to give... That's really good Kushtie, don't take it for granted...
