Last year I mostly watched trichs. Weather had a lot to do with when I cut a couple of them. But for the most part I was waiting for all milky with a small % amber. One plant didn't seem to want to amber and ended up coming down due to weather. It turned out to be the best of all of them.

IDK what to tell you Grizz other than it's a balancing act between what you want, what it's giving you and the weather. You gotta roll with it and harvest when your gut tells you.

Yeah I might just stick to how I've always done it, whilst still watching trichs. I want peak thc not to amber up...Breakfast lunch work smoke, visit mum and dads smoke, parenting smoke. dad your eyes are red, that's ok.... dad your eyes are bleeding, not good, lol....

Hey Grizz! Happy Easter
I go by both pistils and trichs, but in the end have always had to harvest because of impending bad weather or expediency cos I was going away. It helps to know the strain and have an idea of what its ripe buds should look like I suppose....

Good luck with that big girl harvest - I imagine it's going to be phased

Bottom right has few flower sites that were blocked by last plant. Sites have not grow to maturity in last 8 days. I'm I done then?

What Grizz said millertm, I just did 3 on last harvest and am glad I did, think it made a big difference added a few more zips to my harvest with 0 popcorn. I went 2 1/2 weeks and then just went on and chopped due to needing the space.

Thanks all for input... I got a bud out that dried from tops I took off couple weeks ago (I think it was maybe, a week, stoner)...Anyways, this is going to be a good smoke. It's going to be a strong smoke also going by this immature head..has surprisingly got me really stoned. Couldn't smoke it though, immature,would end with a headache after a good session.... Easter Monday lunch time pics..

Some left out low buds, they want to show off, lol....

Oh, I've also taken off the heads on four other branches.. They had flopped over. Too much effort to splint them and keep them from resting on other heads around them.. You'll see a light green area bottom mid of one photo. This was one of the branches...

Shiggs, I haven't found the door yet. Thought I saw moonface though and there's a saucepan on the ground next to it. but I have seen a caterpillar asleep rolled up in a leaf with a hookah... .

I'm not real good at describing this.. I kinda get jealous of you connisure's, wish I had such a pallet, cause I smoke enough to be able to enjoy it like that.. It's got a musky smell but a fresh pine/flower smell under lines it...
It's meant to be 50/50, looks like I got the 100% indica.. it looks, what I know kush plants to look like, only without the stacked trichs. Does have some nice frost though..
