GrizzWalds - Aussie Indoor/Outdoor - Choose Your Own Adventure

Welcome aboard Blacksmith.....the more the merrier my friend... Well we might have the same seasons, but we got our own weather here... Can go 15 mins either side of town and go from cloudy 17 to blue sky30, honestly..... Hope your well man....

I hear you. Yep, all is good, nothing wrong with my life a lot of money can't fix, hope all's good in your neck of the woods too.

Hey Grizz!

That outdoor girl is mahoosive :jawdropper::MoreNutes::yummy:

I really wish I could put one plant in the ground and let her rip.....sadly my ticker and my nerves couldn't deal with the 'excitement' - too brazen.

Hope you are already working out your trimming fingers, she's going to take some trimming:battingeyelashes::battingeyelashes:

Hope you're having a great weekend.

G'day Bapple, thankyou... She is big, little bigger than I wanted.. She's bent over as much as I could. I bent over a couple of main colas, as they were popping over the fence a litle to high. I'm to scared to jump over the fence and have a look back, but she a good foot higher than it now.. 10 plants here before commercial, 1 plant wrist slap, or so I hope... its all good now, but come start of next month, there will be a few weeks of a sickening feeling, as I have a plant just about ready, wanting to let it finish, but not get done for it or have it ripped... I hate trimming, I'll let that be known. I wonder if those trimming machines work....Saturday was work and today I made tomato pasta sauce and canned 20 bottles. First time I've done its, so hopefully it worked and I don't kill myself with food poisoning in 6 months..and back at you, hope your able to have a relaxing weekend....thanks for stopping in.... :)

Hmmmmm...nice...tomato sauce :thumb: If you sterilised your bottles and covers (I pop them into a hot oven for 30 mins or so)before putting in the sauce and then give them a little water bath (one hour or so) after they are sealed, you should be fine.

The law is not so lenient here, but our real problem is that we are seen as uppity foreigners (even though my husband was originally from here) and would probably be treated more harshly if busted. In any event we don't care to find out :battingeyelashes::allgood:

I am cheering you to the finish line and sending plenty of naff-off-rippers!! karma your way :cheertwo:

You'll make it through pard, you had my back when I went all Nervous Nellie last year, you got my full support! How long till harvest you reckon? Bend her like Beckham

:Namaste:

Now you got me imaging bending Victoria Beckham over..... 8 weeks left I'd say, going by season and looking at her... Nervous Nellie, happens every year, just a few weeks of holding the breath hoping she's still there... She'll hopefully give me a smoke or two, lol....

I love spagetti... Wish I was there to help ya out with that...:)....:circle-of-love:

Wish you were here to help... It took me two hours to remove the skins and seeds...

Thanks Sthil.. I wish I had of kept a few more seeds from last year....

Jars and lids were in hard boiling water for 15 mins. Once I filled them I put them into a larger stockpot of boiling water, over the lids by an inch or two, and boiled for hour and half... All the lids are sucked in, no pop on them, we are sealed.. i planted another tomato plant as the others got their first ripe fruit on them. The plant has tomatoes all over it. I love green tomato pickles, so these will be picked and pickled once mum finds the recipe...
There's some things you don't want to find out.. Geez that garden of yours just became even more awesome, lol...
Thanks for the karma support.... :)

Cramp hands it is then... Thanks Heirloom... That's two big negatives really. Pay heaps to stuff your buds... But if your got no choice in the matter, it's good to know there's machines to help...

Holy Crap, Griz. This is worth quoting so we can all see it again.

You don't keep you yard tidy by throwing your grass clippings into your neighbours property...
Outside girl update.... Pictures say 1000 words and I'm no wordsmith so I took these.. Hope all are well....

I hope to do at least that good with some of mine this year. I'm reworking my holes and upping the ante...final volume for each location will be about 39 cubic ft...or roughly 270 gallons of soil.

The two smallish mounds of black dirt is last years...about 25 gallons each.
