I work for myself... Real estate agents, they have all rentals on their books, and any paint jobs they get me to either do or quote.. I'll get a builder or more private work.. Real estate was good, just lazy work coming in, not me looking for it.. People always need painting done around here, it's weird. All manicured lawns and gardens, house with more stuff in them than mine but they only used 4 weeks a year.. All holiday houses.

Sux about the work side of things but hopefully things will pick up soon, hit up all the real estates, who knows there could be a good overflow coming from somewhere or not happy with who they use ;) how do you usually go over winter, do you find work slows down much in the cooler wetter period? it used to affect me pretty bad when i was running my own pesty business, basically found myself working 6 months of the year to earn 12 months wages.
 
Yeah mate, slows right down.. I'll probably have 3-4 weeks off, work couple have week off etc... Coastal work, majority exterior..crazy busy once suns out.. It's all good.. Joys of working for yourself.. Housing market is still pumping.. Got two big jobs in October. 3 months work on each...
 
Thanks Dennise and Heirloom for your flowering products/tips etc... I like your KISS approach Heirloom :rofl: you foliar feed? Up to flowers or formed flowers also?
Something I've always thought, maybe told, read, idk.. You can't use your garden soil indoors. It goes sour/mouldy, compacts etc... I feel my garden soil would go well, bit of perlite and some other secret herbs and spices.. Can it be used indoors?
 
Anybody like the band Butthole Surfers? Just got an old album of theirs playing, Hairway to Steven, man it's a good album.. trip down memory lane, lol..

Haha dude i looked up Butthole Surfers and their pretty good. Sounds like the music i listened to in the 90's. Deffinately brings back memories. You ever hear of The Presidents of the United States if America or the Toadies? :passitleft:

i do with added perlite etc ,hydro heads just seem to have something against soil

Presidents had a couple big hits here during 90's, I can only remember Peaches... Surfers were my last year of school band, lol, 91-92.. Haven't heard it for a while. I'm getting into all my old music, is this how the midlife crisis starts :rofl:

Janes and a bit of Ministry... Mate was into Cure for a while .. I liked aussie bands Radio Birdman, The Hitmen, Hunters and Collectors of course, Hoodoos, Chisel obviously.... Lots of Ska in the early days..Specials, The Beat, Bad Manners, Madness, Selector.. Punk: DKs, Black Flag, 7 Seconds, DRI, Hard-ons(saw them a lot) Massappeal, Spiderbait omg too many..
Was right into it in my youth; had muso friends, and roadied for a drummer mate.. progressed into full technical metal; Metallica, Slayer, etc. Nowadays it's Periphery, Protest the Hero, Decapitated, Lamb of God, Beneath the Massacre, System of a Down, The Faceless...

No-one likes my music!!!!
 
big black, shellac, Mercury Rev, neubauten (avatar) ween,Pop will eat itself, femmes yeah list goes on and on. Early nick cave, scientist. Never got into hunters except that I wished I was a few years younger and saw them live, crazy in Melbourne apparently, industrial and dark, saws on metal etc... . One of my favourites was sepultura, seen live, awesome. speed industrial metal.
