"Santb, don't get into a gun fight with an American..I think they are better shots All you Aussie hunters, don't get your barrels in a knot"

Yeah no shit! I actually missed the part about snake-shot at first; that would help.. Heirloom definitely sounds like he knows what he's doing though.. That helps! Can you put double-aught in that revolver?? That's all I'd trust!!!
I used to be an ok shot, even with a pistol; but snakes (and spiders!!)... Get outta the way!! Full-Auto only!!!!! Scorched Earth!!!

777, I think, I'm sure I'll be corrected, actually certain.. My understanding is all yanks are American but not all Americans are yanks..

That revolver is a .22, not a shot gun size cartridge. The shot is about like large, course grains of sand. It works well.

I once hit a chicken in the head at 25yrds with my glock .45. It was the last chicken to process that day. We had done a couple rabbits, a couple ducks and several chickens. Well, chicken apparently was not gonna have it after seeing everyone else get dispatched. My friend and I chased that damn bird all over the hills. Finally I realized I had a good back drop...no houses in the distance. So I drew my side arm and looked at my friend. She was over it and shrugged, sure, shoot the darn thing.

I missed the first shot. You know how chickens duck and bob and weave. It was like it ducked the bullet. So I leaned forward with more intent. Whamo. She couldn't believe I hit it in the head at that distance. She thought I was going to hit the body. I said, oh no...I wouldn't ruin all that good meat!

Ah, those were the days. Good times.

Yankee was a term used back in the US civil war days. Most northern folks, and slave rights sympathizers were called Yankees.

So yes, Yankees are Americans, but not all Americans are Yankees.

EDIT: Actually there were a lot of terms used, but Yankee is the one that has endured. Sports teams and songs keeping it around for the most part.

Matrix-chicken dodging bullets!!
Not a bad shot, Heirloom. .45 Glock have a bit of kick? That's a big-arse round for a chook!
I haven't had a pistol in my hands for years.. I miss it. It's good fun...

A bit. I have +1 floor plates for the magazines. That adds a little grip on the bottom (and 1 more round) and gives the pinky a better purchase, giving a little better control. When the mag is nearly empty it kicks more because the weight of the rounds in the mag isn't there to ballast anymore.

And it's just my standard side arm. Wasn't intending to shoot a chicken that day. 9mm doesn't stop a baddy on crack unless you take out a knee, or they bleed out. And to bleed out you'll have to hit an artery because swelling will close the hole right up. A .45 has a hell of a lot more energy transfer and a larger entry wound. And the SXT rounds I use (SXT....Same Xact Thing.....as the feared Black Talon) are lethal shredders.

My Uncle is a gun aficionado. He was friends with police and SEALS (we lived in San Diego). I went to many 'shoots' in the desert, year after year. SEALS were trying to groom me as a pup. So yeah, I have a little knowledge and ability instilled in me.

Just checked girls.. 11 days without water, just starting to get curl on end of leaf tips on bubba kush, sour diesel looks unaffected... Stable breeders beans :rofl: except every second one I pop.. This time I have two branches coming out of single node, not topped, just naturally two branches growing one side... Going to Bunnings today to arm the arsenal some more... Got an email off Eco-neem, that makes me feel safe to use it. I'll be using that on the soil. I'll pot it, treat it, then plant after a few days and seeing no bug life. That's plan now.. At moment I'm drying out, yellow traps, apple cider vinegar traps, d/e sprinkled, dry layer of perlite and the life continue to explode, lol. Plants are only suffering cause they are getting no water, not from bugs...

Main reason for going mate, thanks heaps for that...

My guess would be, wrong thread  Paying me back  otherwise, what you talking about willis?

Oh grizz take a few pics of the different bugs you can get and post it up on here for the other Aussies

Is it possible they treated the seeds with colchicine?

My guess would be, wrong thread  Paying me back  otherwise, what you talking about willis?

Your plant with two branches from the same node. Do you know if the seed maker treats the seed with colchicine? It would, when done right, make a polyploid plant. Colchicine treated seeds can do some funny things.

You get some of the weirdest crap Grizz. Thinking there has to be a cause. You don't live on an old nuke test site or anything? Near any uranium mines?

I know man, it's bizarre.. Most stable beans I have are from Hermed out freaks, lol... Sorry bud didn't know that was chem used for poly's.. Man hope I get a poly, that'd be fun.. Cali con, wouldn't know... I looked up what it was after your post, gout meds, had me scratching my head, lol... Seen heaps of polys lately, wonder if that's been main experimentation or harnessing genes of late...

Love snake talk among non-Australians... In Cairns (where I grew up), if it floods, look out. Crocs in the main street..
Up there (tropical Far North Queensland), can't swim at the beach for fear of Box Jellyfish and Irukandji jellyfish

AAHHHHhh is so satisfying to talk wildlife with non-Australians... Only thing more fun is explaining cricket! But only if beer is available..

Yes indeed santb! Enjoying myself, I fished the reef for the Big Blacks for 10 years straight as a decoy, what an awesome thing to do and an unbelievably beautiful spot, one of my favs, along with the Cook Islands, and the south Island of NZ.

I bought a book years ago to try and figure out cricket...:rofl::rofl: after trying locals explain it to me in many many places from Trinidad to Bermuda & on & on that's effing hilarious to me!

:high-five:
