Hi ho hi ho onto the grow you go 🪴🪴🪴🪴

Bro I love how patient you are with getting everything set up as you want it before moving forward!
I could learn so much from watching you 😂
Once I have a plan in my head I can't stop 🤦🏽‍♂️I have many old pumps I could use but determined to use this beast I found 😂😂 Never again am I changing my set up LOL
You know it! Gotta love the fuckery they all put us thru! Haha
It's always worth in the end :ganjamon:

Hi ho hi ho onto the grow you go 🪴🪴🪴🪴
Glad to have you back bro were just getting started!

Hows it going 420 fam! I have just received more signs of delays so thought I'd just get you up to speed with what's been going on. Fingers crossed all of my bad luck so far is only around my set up and not my plants! 😬

Previously I showed you how my drain table was set up with a few beams and a large garland tray. I drilled a drainage hole in one corner and sanded the raised strips back so my drain plug could get a tight seal. My larger tray had holes in it so I taped the whole floor to stop leaks then hot glued the holes from the back.

I thought this would work great but unfortunately it was a FAIL lol once I filled the all the pots and tested the run off the tray dipped between the beams so it just pooled 🤦🏽‍♂️😂 as you will soon see I'm very tight for space and after alot of sweat a wrestling I manage to get some sheets of plywood to bridge the gaps and give it the support needed.. now my trays was finally working correctly :cheer:
I cut some holes in he tent to run my drain pipes out to a container but my chosen container has not arrived so my pipes are currently sitting on the floor waiting.. I think I'll take my drainage pump down the local and find something fitting there. But that's where I'm at for drainage..

My resovoir and feed pipes aren't even in the room anymore from all the wrestling everything got kicked out! 😂 Please picture a sweaty wrestler! 😭
But before they was kicked out I could only find a 50L bin that would fit between my tents so I will see how I get on with that. I whipped up a stand for the res to raise it ubove my pump and screwed my pump to the floor.. I did have two small submersible pumps but found a beast of a pump in my garage so I thought yeah I'll have that 🤦🏽‍♂️ I got everything in place like so...

And that's as far is it got 🤣 my two blue drain pipes will go to a T piece and then into a container containing a automatic bilge pump.
My feed pump is still waiting on two stop valves and a non return valve.. I received one stop valve two days ago so I told the company and the kindly posted another next day delivery... Yesterday came and I had another stop valve arrive but they decided they'd send a smaller size this time 😩 soo I have emailed them twice with no reply. 🙄 That's it for my build so far but once it's eventually complete maybe I will do a quick post so it's all in one place.

Continued for plants update...

Looks fantastic my friend. :welldone:
I might put a 2x4 crosser just incase, they could tip over. :Namaste:
I have trouble getting material where I am , even 2x4's are an hour drive.
Good luck with the valve.
Take care.

Ok so as you already know my plants rooted a few days ago, I think I had 20 clones root out of 22.. the cheese clones was a bit slower but the mother was nowhere near as healthy. I have kept my cloner running for now with my spare clones incase any of them play funny buggers lol and my recent luck..

I filled my mixing container with 50L of Coco and 10L of perlite at a time (wearing a mask).

PXL_20230516_210334619.jpg

Once mixed well I filled each pot and got them in the tent ready for a soak!

PXL_20230516_222339033.jpg

As I haven't set up my feed system yet I connected one of my smaller pups to a hose in a 20L bucket and put a stop valve on the end to water all the pots.

PXL_20230517_000846482.jpg

Once all the pots was fully saturated with run off I made a little hole in the soil and filled it with some mycorrhizal Inoculants then planted all the clones that had the best root growth.

PXL_20230517_003335970.jpg
PXL_20230517_005145151.jpg

This Coco is alot more lighter then the compost coir I grew with last time but I'm hoping they will be ok for 5ish days before they want feeding again.. I want to let the roots reach out in search for more water/food to maximise on root growth and I will probably do this for the first two feedings then I will pick up the pace. Obviously if the plants say otherwise they will get what they want.

And that's it for now the pool in the corner is a good sign lol it means my table is draining the right way I just have the drain hose raised so no more could come out.

This is probably my longest update ever so apologies lol and your time is much appreciated.. hope everyone's havig a great day! ✌🏽

Never apologize for a long update!
This is your corner of 420! Go as long as you need brother!
Loving the setup!
Personally it’s too many moving parts for me I need the buffer of soil otherwise im too busy for all that!

You may have to help me on a small f&d build in the future

Bill284 😎
Thanks Bill! Yes great advice 👍🏽 they tipped over many times in the process 🤣 as they are now bridged with 4mm ply that can be screwed to the beams to secure them. I won't be recommending just beams in the build summary post 😎

Hope you and the family are well mate

True that bro F y'all 🤣🤣 I joke I joke lol.
Thanks it's work in progress but hopefully it comes together 🤞🏽
Yeah I see you lootz I be up and down your street on my lowrider with my shades low 🤣 once my nutrients run out I'll be trying Coco organic keeping the auto watering system.

Hit me up anytime time bro for anything! I got u ✌🏽

Thanks Mr green! I'm hoping for them results I see you getting 🧐 you kill it every time! I need to workout how much I saved building a table rather then buying one 🤔bits probably worth it if I'd done it right the first time but I know irrigation stuff is cheaper and more available where you are!

Cheers lootz, I haven't flowerd in the 4x4 before so will go until she's full but this will obviously dictate number of plants and flower time next round. Goal is 4 weeks wall to wall but this one I'm thinking 6 🤞🏽

Cheers braddah! How them clones coming along!
We're moving slower then I thought we would be! It'll been a week Tuesday and I thought Coco would have dried out a bit more but tomorrow I will feed again at higher ec. New nutrients this round so took it easy!

Hope your good bro 👊🏽

Gooooood morning grow family. As you saw previously my clones was potted last Wednesday so we will call today day 6 of VEG As usual I haven't been around my garden but I thought as they was clones they would take a week to settle in as if it was soil so I left them and been helping friends move house, visiting family and working..

I final found time to get in my grow room and wasn't happy with what was going on so I had to get out of my comfort zone and realize I'm completely starting over.. at the start of this grow I've gone from compost to Coco, from active to passive ventilation and from 400w to 650w led lights so I've basically started over but all I done was switch everything on and walk away 🤦🏽‍♂️

I'm working untill very late tonight so tomorrow I'll have to buy and install another fan to move the heat around my lights as they are alot hotter! My exhaust fan has been kicking in alot more bringing my humidity down and giving me alot of negative pressure! With my old active system my controller would control both fans & keep the pressure the same so I really took that for granted 🙄 I will have to open more vents around my tent to counter the negative pressure and find a good balance to run my fans as low as possible but keep temps lower and humidity higher Hopefully I get that environment in check 🤞🏽
As for my feed and waste system I will update that soon.. still waiting on a connector but the waste system is doing it's part from yesterday's feed.

The plants was showing me signs of maybe over watering which I don't think is possible I thought maybe I squashed the roots too much but in Coco and air pots I think I've probably slightly under fed them. When I fed last night I fed on week two feed, my pH out was in the sixes and didn't check ec as really didn't have time but I fed them and will feed every other day to keep the rootzone in check.. for future plans I will most likely start in smaller pots and do one pot up to keep the roots happy and use less feed as I feel like I'll be wasting alot at the moment.

So here's my poor ladies some ware doing ok some are struggling but hopefully I can get them back in shape!

PXL_20230523_065518635.jpg

Thanks 🙏
Hope you all had a great weekend! ✌🏽✌🏽

They look great to me bro! :passitleft:

After couple weeks those clones will take off. Are you feeding until run off @ 5.8 ph?
Growing in coco, @Bill284 has a lot of experience.

Have a great night at work :high-five:
Yeah feed until run off every time @ 5.6.. only reason my run off was 6.2 was because I left it a week before feed.. when it dries too much the salts will go up.. you can do longer ferts or more frequent and it will come back down bro no dramas

Cheers brother hope you have a great day!

Good morning grow family! This is not really an update as theirs not much to update but wanted to say happy Friday! The weekend is around the corner and i have chosen not to sell my time and enjoy it with the family so my mood is high 😎 I hope you all feel the same and have a great weekend! Looking forward to your garden updates ✌🏽✌🏽

I had time finally to show you a close up of butters Betty 😂 she's the worst plant but I think she's doing better now 🤞🏽 time will tell

Lastly I left my cloners running and was topping it up with leftover food or run off water lol I couldn't get Andy of them out with out ripping roots but this one was pretty cool.
