Green Jeans Greenhouse Outdoor Adventure

Well, it's early but I see no more abnormalities - here is one of the offending balls that was castrated!!! And all that was trimmed from the bottom half of Angie - might have to change that to Bengie!!

I'm always surprised at the differences at each plant. The first shot is of the flowers on my forest dwellers and were I first noticed what I assume are trichs - they seem to be flowering in a different manner than the yard gals. And the second shot is of the newly banished Angie (I'm still holding on to hope) I should take a shot of her new grooming and her pond side quarters. I assume that those little white "hairs" on the leaves are trichs??

Well, ya know what, just for the hell of it, I trimmed up those branches that I lopped off - there really isn't much there but it seems to me, years ago, didn't they just chop up the whole plant - males, females - everything - stems, stalks, seeds?? It helps get everything in order for drying and curing if I am lucky enough to get a plant to harvest - you would think that even a goof like me could get at least one to the finish.
And that darn Beulah, she's a prankster!!! When I'm farting around in the greenhouse she tickles the back of my neck just so I think it's a mosquito. She's twice as big as Angie but not nearly so far along. I think my best hope may be the forest dwellers if I can beat the frost but I'm counting on Beulah to bring it home.
Well, Princess Rolling Eyes has the Euchre Ladies over tonite so I'm banished to the shop, in the dark, I put tape over the light switch and my little office/drying room has been all boarded up to keep any light in or out. I'll probably doze off watching TV dreaming of amber triches!!!

dreaming of amber triches!!!
Lol keep dreaming! Because by the looks of the amount of pistils still being pushed out, you’ve got about three weeks or longer for them to start pushing out amber trichs :laughtwo: Lol I know the feeling though!:yahoo:

The good news, is that their going to start putting on weight! Fatten right up for harvest!!

Looking good green jeans!!

I almost commented saying that those are pistils, then I looked closer and saw what you were looking at. :thumb:

My Gaaaawd!!! There is peril around every corner!!!!! I had put up a 10 x 12 tarp to block any light from the flood light at the house - about 100' away - well, when the Euchre ladies left and I was allowed back in the house - "I'm a good boy - who's a good boy" - it seemed awfully bright - THE BACK LIGHTS WERE ON!!!! - I checked and the tarp (which I originally thought was overkill) was positioned to block the light - so I'm hoping that disaster was averted!! So that switch will now be taped "OFF" - If all this ever comes to fruition I am gonna get sooooo stooooonnnned!!!!:lot-o-toke: Well, got my coffee so I better go check the gals.

Everything looks fine this morning - it was a bit chilly - that seemed to make the mosquitoes more voracious - but here's Angies new pond side home and then her top, loaded with buds - the larger clusters are about 14 - 16 inches and there is about 10 big ones - and then back in the greenhouse just for a lark is a cutting that is in flower

Loving the little guys ❤️ I have a few like that around too....just can’t seem to part with em.

Everything looked pretty good today - I'm really enjoying looking at the sparkly trichs - makes me think I'm getting close.
Got more work done on my press - I should post a pic I guess - ordered some ceramic heating elements, gel caps and a 60x loup - well, I'm off to bed to dream about tomorrows adventure.

I found another pollen sac on Angie, so that whole lower branch is now gone. Everyone else looks pretty good.

My press is coming along - probably no hurry - won't do too much more until my heating elements come in.

Unless you're entering it into a beauty contest, it just has to hold. And it's nothing that an angle grinder can't clean up. I'm more impressed with your engineering skills than anything else. Being able to put it all together and make it work. I'm not up on the whole process of using one of these presses. I know that you need heat and pressure, but beyond that, I'm ignorant. Keep us updated on this build. If it works, I may request a copy of your detailed engineering plans. I'm sure you have them available for photocopy and distribution? Oh and please convert to empirical measurements for me. None of that metric bs. ;)

None of metric bs.
Whaaaaat?? No Motersicles or centapeeds???? And I hardly ever do a plan as it changes about 17 times thru the build depending on what piece of stuff I've been saving for 37 years just to build sumpin' !!! :thumb:
Well, I gotta go - we got invited out for supper - but I gotta bring my own meat (I had to get clarification on that)!!!

I do that too. There's no better feeling than going to your personal scrap yard and realizing that you have everything that you need to complete a project. Well for me, anyway. I have little pieces of scrap all over my garage because, "who knows, one day I might need it."
