Much harder with the newfangled gadgets kids are buying these days.
I recently dropped $40 on a WiFi microscope from Amazon because the battery on my old S4 no longer holds a charge.

Yeah I’ve got the same type of digital scope that connects to wifi. It can take a really nice pics when its on the stand but trying while holding it in you hand is just impossible to get the pic clear enough. So yeah, I just love all the gadgets they have these days there is absolutely something for everything and everyone lol it really is amazing what you can find!

I just bought this cheepo lens set off amazoon.
It works fine. My problem is I cant hold the phone still.
Those microscopes are worse at keeping a clear photo. I bought one and forgot to return it.
Heres from the clipon phone lenses. Not bad for $8

I have an older Iphone 8 plus. Same as a 8 only bigger screen. I didnt do anything fancy with camera settings, I just clipped it on focused and took a picture. That was holding the camera in my hand.
As a matter of fact, I really dislike the camera on this phone.
These lenses would probably work with any phone. They are probably just magnifying glasses made of plastic. But it works for me.
* Forgot to add. I did zoom in on the picture when I pulled it back up on my phone.
