More great buds for your cupboard Gray....:slide:

I'm thinking I need an actual cupboard for my jars. I have a space at the end of a storage closet against a nice cold concrete wall, where I could build a shallow cabinet - enough for two jars deep. :slide: It's ridiculous going through stacks of jars trying to find that one strain.

I know - 1st world problems. :):bongrip:

Remember that guy who used his built-in bedroom cedar closet to store his jars?

There are people walking around jonesing and you're complaining about not having enough storage space for all your stash???

Luckily, none of those people are on this forum!:rofl::rofl:

A good problem to have:surf:

I store all mine in the old kitchen cabinets that I moved into the basement. It’s cool and humidity controlled down there, and nice and dark. Very easy to organize and remember where everything is. Headbands in the silverware draw, C99’s in the bread box draw, Pineapple is in the dish cupboard...lol

The wife and I just shared a tester from GojiPupil and we're impressed! :thumb:

It hasn't been at all smelly during bloom, and the finger resin from pulling fan leaves smelled like a typical hybrid even though it has a prominent pale purple color. But the first hit was a blast of terpenes! Wow! It wasn't the aroma at all - just pure mouth taste - strange. It'll probably evolve - this was just a fresh budlet that dried in the bone-dry air overnight. But what a surprise! :p I got a heavy floral sumpin and the wife said wine. Yep, floral wine. The terpene test results show mostly myrcene 0.3%, with linalool and limonene, both 0.08%. There's significant nerolidol too, 0.11% total - anyone have any experience with that one? :hmmmm:

Anyway, it has a fun sleeper taste that you don't see (smell) coming. :) The buzz was firm and immediate, followed by a warm dreamy feeling. It's definitely encouraging so far. I'll be trimming it under its own influence - nice and serendipitous. :slide:

:bongrip:

Here are some pics after I trimmed off all the fans.

Very nice, Brother! :bravo:

Nerolidol is a sesquiterpene and that smells similar to fresh bark. There are two isomers present in nature, cis and trans. The terpene has been eluted to be a toxin against harmful protozoa like malaria and leishmaniasis. Furthermore, nerolidol is effect in delivering drugs through the skin.

Research
Topical Drug Enhancer
Nerolidol has been shown to help the passive skin penetration enhancement, helping a model hydrophobic permeant increase its absorption into skin by 20 fold. There were also significantly longer durations of action and did not wash off easily.

volatile oils as skin penetration enhancers for the hydrophilic
permeant 5-fluorouracil. J Pharm Pharmacol 46: 261–269.

Antiprotozoan
The research on nerolidol has concluded it to be a potent malaria drug. 100 microg/mL of nerolidol caused 100% of growth inhibition of young trophozoite to schizont stage after 48 hours of exposure. Nerolidol had an inhibitory effect on the biosynthesis of the isoprenic and dolichol side chains of the benzoquinon ring of ubiquinones in the organism. Thus the expression of p21 ras protein was significantly decreased.

et al. (1999). Antimalarial use of volatile oil from leaves of Virola
surinamensis (Rol.) Warb. by Waiapi Amazon Indians.
J Ethnopharmacol 67: 313–319.

Nerolidol has been proven to be effective with Leishmaniasis as well. 57-85 uM was proven to be effective as a 50% growth inhibitory concentration in a broad range of Leishmania species.100uM resulted in 95% reduction in infection rates of macrophages. The compound inhibits the mevalonate pathway. The compound inhibits isoprenoid synthesis by reducing the incorporation of mevalonic acid or acetic acid precursors into dolichol, ergosterol, and ubiquinone. This compound’s effect can be attributed to the blockage of an early step in the mevalonate pathway.

Sounds like it would be good for topicals! :thumb:

Isn't that interesting! I've never seen nerolidol mentioned, that I remember. :hmmmm:

That's pretty definitive, isn't it? :hmmmm:

Apparently, it contributes to the floral, too.

Mmmm... imagine myself curled up in front of the fire at Gray’s, having a dreamy cosy day amongst the chill :ganjamon:

Yes! A requirement for my topical strain choices forever now! Thanks Krip.

It looks so beautiful all trimmed like that Gray!:yummy:

Yeah, but you'd have to put up with me yammering at you about trying this one, and what do you think, etc, and then Oh, hey, check this out - feel that? And then if you follow that in a few minutes with some of this ... no, wait ... this one is better.

And ahem ... ask Duggan ... I talk wayyyyyy too much when I get really high. :p

So, be warned. :bongrip:

It's -13C and rising. :Namaste:
