Graytail's 4th Perpetual: 4x4 Samsung Panels

I chopped my UBH x GoldenTiger today. :) And I have a rootbound Bubba myself, just waiting for a cut to get going before I flip it - I took this rootbound one Apr22. Zamal Hash sounds like something I'd like to try. The Zam+ I've run have been nice - smokin' on some right now, as a matter of fact.

Here's (UtopiaHaze x BuddhaHaze) x GoldenTiger S1. I'm surprised it was ready this early - 72 days of bloom - but the pistils were turning all over the plant and I wasn't seeing much new grow.

Now that's a cola!

BubbaHash is dried and jarred and I got 92 grams, 3.25 ounces! :p This was my second run with it, and last time I got 88 grams, so good for me! I didn't think this was as big, but it's very good at growing dense buds. I took it at 69 days last time and 64 days this time.

This strain is an indoor grower's dream plant. It absolutely loves to grow.

:bongrip:
Great looking buds there Gray! I love the BubbaHash plant. Had a taste of Neikos and its some of the best tasting if not the best tasting weed I have had. Someday I will grow one out....just not enough time or space yet!

Nice plants Gray, I can’t say which I like better they are all so nice! Top work :goodjob:

Congrats on all the beautiful harvests and pictures:circle-of-love:

Anxious to see how your Rasberry turns out.
Rock on brotha. :theband::adore:

We were doing some philosphizing over on @Van Stank 's page today and I wanted to post something more but I didn't want to hijack, and between pipes it occurred to me that I could do it on my very own journal! :thumb:

Here's the thing. I think all of us who post here on 420Mag wonder from time to time why everyone is so nice and polite and mature, etc. :hmmmm: This isn't typical of forums. I'm tempted to attribute some of it to our mutual chronic interest in cannabis, but it isn't even typical of cannabis forums. There are some other places that are like this, but very few.

I've been a regular on one forum or another for 20+ years, and one thing that I've noticed is that people who like to type paragraphs onto screens tend to be pleasant and mature people. Blurters typically stick to sentences, if that. So there's a sort of natural selection - an appreciation for elegance and truth - otherwise why bother with all the words? I just didn't expect to find the best forum with the best people, on a cannabis forum. Y'know? :hmmmm:

Which brings me to my second question. I keep running into what I would call conservative people here. I've mentioned it before, but for so many pot smokers like myself, we had to keep a part of our lives hidden for decades. That makes a person more self-reliant than usual, and less trustful of the man. It distorts the political polarities. We can be conservationists and gun owners and it makes sense. We can look to organic foods and avoid pesticides and not want the government telling us what to do and it makes sense. We must make demographers nuts!

And this reminds me of a friend that I debate with in my mind. He and I grew up together and he went the other direction. He's all about institutions and structure and security and of course, hasn't touched the herb since high school and never would. He works for a large government project - runs part of it - dependent on yearly funding etc. He lives in a large city on the coast and he's my model for the Liberal Elitist. I mean, he's it - PHD and all - so it's easy to project that on him in my head. I know him, so it's puzzling that he believes the things he does.

Here's an odd thing. He's a raving Liberal. I'm a raving Libertarian. He did all the right things, didn't take unnecessary risks and got the planned rewards. I did the opposite.

Why am I the Conservative and he's the Liberal? Isn't that completely backwards? How do we get to be liberal by never straying from the flock?

:hmmmm:

Jus' wonderin' ... :bongrip:

What's your environment and what's his? He moved to the city you moved to the country. Big city's are liberal, what's your part of the country, conservative or liberal?:Namaste:

His area is 80% Dem, and mine is about 45%. He grew up here. Granted, he's always lived there, but he could have become the same safe institutionalist here.

It's not him per se, it's those folks who are so firmly liberal - they're usually what you would think of as conservative people. They don't like to be individuals unless everyone approves. They get fingers and scowls pointed at 'em. That's not exactly liberal.

Hey Graytail! Just wanted to stop in and say hello! Looks like all is well! By the way, I really like your post a few posts back talking about how wonderful 420 magazine is. I agree, I've been a member on many other forums but still come back to 420 magazine as my "home".

Very interesting analysis on the liberal vs the conservative and the choices that lead up to that. I lean to the conservative side on most issues, however I too was the trailblazer who didn't like to follow suit, never was into 'trends/fads', always tended to be happier going against the grain than with the crowd, and yet I would say that even though closer to the middle of the spectrum, I also am more in relation with other conservatives on topics than with liberals minded folk.

What is interesting to me is people I am close with, people I trust and know well, sometimes share the complete opposite views, where its almost like they are speaking nonsense to me, where I'm sure its probably the same to them. Just so interesting on what makes a person lean one way or the other. There are some very interesting psychological studies on the brain functions along political lines, not that that exactly defines conservative or liberal, but very interesting to say the least.

Anyhow, I'm rambling, Just wanted to stop in and say hello!

Great to see you Ice! :thanks:

Did you end up on DTube?
Is that a dirty joke? Kidding..

Not exactly sure what that is, isn't that like a Utube for cannabis or something? I actually still have my Utube channel but they forced me to make all my videos adult only, and after seeing a ton of cannabis channels just deleted, I stopped posting for a while until the storm quieted. Also, I got a big promotion at work and became compliance manager of 2 separate cannabis companies so I have had very little time lately. I have been slowly keeping a journal on 420, but only update about 1x per week. Currently doing 2 projects, one is a open pollination with 79Xmas bud, and the other is some deep chunk which I also will be doing an open pollination.

Glad to see you are still here too! Always enjoyed your presence and knowledge!

I appreciate the consideration Gray, thank you. Just know in the future, feel free to post anything you feel relative to whatever conversation thats taking place over there. I sincerely mean I keep an open forum over there brother.

Also a great write up. I figured you might be a Libertarian as well, with conservative leanings in certain areas. It kind of fucks with people when I tell them I am conservative and liberal. I have had people tell me to my face that "You can't be both!!" I struggle to understand why people are so quick to lump things in such defined boxes with rules that you can't think this or feel that if you believe something about one subject. Why can't I be a fiscal conservative and a social liberal? I don't want anyone controlling what I can or can't do in my bedroom or any other areas, why the hell would I want to impose my will or beliefs on others. Just because I don't like, support, or appreciate someones life choices doesn't mean they aren't entitled to live their life they way they want (with the caveat it doesn't involve hurting others). I just want as little government as possible. Its worthless in my opinion in its current status (and that isn't a dig at our POTUS....the problem has been around for much longer and its much bigger than one person) and will likely stay that way.
