Graytail's 3rd: 4x4, HiBrix, Latest LED Tech, Lots Of Light!

Unfortunately, I smoke it for sanity, not pain relief, and I run sativas and sativa-dom hybrids. I did run a Blue Blood (high CBD) but it got badly dusted with pollen and not only couldn't finish, but is loaded with seeds, so it's a PIA. :cheesygrinsmiley: I do have some general achyness that comes with age, and it seemed to me that the Blue Blood made that fade, but I can't be sure.

As far as I understand, indicas are going to offer more physical pain relief. Duggan is currently running some MK Ultra that he says works great for his pain. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I suffer from severe pain. My goto's for physical based pain for the evening, I prefer Night Nurse out of Canada I believe.. BC Bud Depot perhaps. Massive yield. I have successfully harvested, out of 10 gal organic soil pot with some generous topping, close to a 1lb. Great pain relief and for anyone suffering from insomnia, this one is for you. For Daytime I bounce between TGA's Professor Chaos and TGA's Micky Kush. Both derived from Jack the Ripper. The Micky seems to give me much more clarity though. Really uplifting. I think it would work well for people suffering from depression. Anyone I know who has smoked it from novice to experienced smokers gets really happy on it. Not like "closed eye" happy but "good time/feel good happy. Neither have the raciness that comes from some Sativa dom strains.

I smoke for sanity as well, so new to the game that I have no idea what works best for me. These two that I grow are fun, but I know neither one is what I'm really seeking. Carnival sounds tempting. That Mickey Kush... That's a powerful testimony Growlow. Sounds like one that should be on my list for sure.

Greytail, how long did it take in your search to find Carnival?

Carnival was the 12th strain I grew - it was one of my second batch of seeds. :cheesygrinsmiley: My favorite in the first batch was Jamaican Dream, and the little bit of that first Utopia Haze pheno. Oops, and Panama. That was a good first batch. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Depression is something else I also medicate with my plants. I don't feel depressed since having Micky Kush in my cycle. I only hope those around me who share the same condition and opinion are genuine in their feedback. I just bought another 10 pack of seeds to further explore the Pheno field of Micky Kush!

I'm only in my second run, and she's only a tiny thing, so I know next to nothing. I want to try a wide variety initially, just to enjoy the collection, but I can see a time where the majority of my grows will become centered around this concept of exploring the Pheno field.

Good grief it's already 3:30. Goodnight gentlemen. It's been a pleasure. You've both helped greatly. Greytail, always a pleasure.

Growlow , how long was the flowering time of the Mickey Kush?:peacetwo:

Depending on the pheno I have had some as early as 58 days and as long as 64. so 8-9 weeks to finish off good. I find for those seeking more help with depression to harvest at milky vs waiting for Amber. I found otherwise it develops that stoney feeling vs energetic. Both feel good but that's just my piece on it.

Graytail & Hungaluz :Namaste::circle-of-love::adore::thankyou:

Hashplant will paralyze me - actually so strong I get cold sweats can't move and pass out. :)

Bah, sativas are just a lil more eager and sly than indicas are. :laughtwo: They keep trying to get out, ya know? But they're quick growers, so you can just point 'em the direction you want 'em to go, and they'll go there. You just have to keep lots of light on them, and if you can dial back the red in veg, that will help with stretch. The leaves on this Desfran remind me of my Tangerine Dream, though, which was a Neville's leaning pheno - pretty stretchy.

I'm really starting to like Desfran! It's quite vigorous so far, and it's picking up speed. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Desfran - 26 days old.

Look at the growth compared to Tikal - the same age.

And Buddha Haze x Blue Blood is getting wider at the top. :cheesygrinsmiley: She likes the new dirt. I've pretty much decided that this one will be topped. Those lower branches are calling to me to be trained.

You know what was really neat Greytail? I was scrolling through and when you said you were planning to top the Buddha Haze x Blue Blood because the lower branches were calling to be trained I could see what you mean. I'm starting to actually catch on! You guys are good teachers. You should see the grin on my face. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Just stopped by on my way to bed to see what you were up to. Thanks for that exciting moment.

Good night.
